This hotel is located on the outskirts of the centre of Lisbon and only a 5-10 minute walk from the hop on hop off bus stop. It only took about 30 minutes to get there from the airport. The reception staff are very polite and check in was very simple. The room was roomy but lacked power sockets to plug in devices or the kettle that was provided in the room. No USB outlets but it is an older style hotel. The room was very clean and products provided in the bathroom. There was a safe and small refridgerator also. The was plenty of space to hang clothing. We found the beds uncomfortable but lovely and clean. The breakfast is on the ground floor and adequate. The staff at breakfast were very accommodating. There are restaurants within walking distance in the area and although near main roads it is not a noisy location. It was convenient for our 3 night stay.

The hotel is located 5 mins walk from the Edward VII park and park subway station, in a quiet road (except for the building works going on next door!). Best described as oldish but charming. Everything was clean, our room (702) was large, had a bath with shower and a balcony, that could easily house the two chairs from the room. Ideal for siting in the afternoon and evening sun. The view overlooks the road, across roof tops and you can watch the plans approach the airport. The only complaint about the room was one of the bedside lamps didn't work and wasn't fixed during our stay. The staff were fantastic but you can only get breakfast here, which is very good, or room service. There is a bar but it didn't open on Sunday and Monday night. Overall very good at the price

We stayed in room 507. The first morning I noticed a moving bug on the floor. I stomped on it. I then checked the bed and found a dead bug. I thought it could have been a fluke. I’ve never experienced or seen bed bugs before. I had new sheets put on the bed. The following morning I woke up to 2 bugs in the bed. I did not stay the 3rd night and cut the trip short."

The hotel bills itself as a 4 star but it is anything but. It is quite ancient and tired. The rooms and furniture are dated and worn. Matresses are old. The first room we were assigned to had no electrical outlets except one behind a large piece of furniture where the TV was plugged in. They gave us an extension cord but as we had two phones and two tablets to charge this was only a partial solution. The wifi did not work and a technician had to be sent up. Finally, all the lights could be on or all off. Nothing in between. We asked to be moved to another room which turned out to be marginally better.

The rooms were very spacious. There were many good dining options nearby. They accomodated our request for an early check-in as well.

The hotel was clean enough, but very outdated. The hotel is way overdue for some updating. When we came back to our hotelroom after a trip to the city, we found bugs on the ceiling and behind the bathroomdoor. A 4 star classification is way too high.

Hotel enjoyimg a good location in the heart of the city. Nice staff. The room was spacious but the mattress needs to be replaced. It was too old.
