Hotel Margherita

We were a group of 6 people going skiing in easter. Rooms were fine and beds where great. Some of rooms has been renovated/upgraded. Acces to skiing is 100 m from the hotel. Staff in reception, restaurant etc. where always available for help with advice and practical questions. The most friendly and service minded people I have meet in a long time :-).

A lovely hotel with very good service. We had the half board pension, and the food was really delicious. Room was new, nice and clean, and had the most beautiful wire from the balcony(quite big) Hotel is a bit from the city centre, witch is the only minus

We were pleased with new refurbishment of the hotel rooms, which now looks modern and is of a very good quality. We appreciated the bathroom ammenities as well as the hot water catlle for coffee/ tea. Also the new building was a nice surprise for us. However I have few things I`d like to point out. First, we were missing some towel hooks or hangers in the bathrooms. That was quite uncomfortable. Second, anytime we took shower, water was on the whole bathroom floor, even though we tried to shut the shower door tight. Very unpleasant. Third, we didn`t like the breakfast system, which I believe was implemented during Covid-19 epidemic, but isn`t needed anymore. It was very uncomfortable, not everyone speaks Italian or English, the food ordering was sometimes chaotic, for some adults as well as for children. Also the choice was every day the same and not very large/ various (couldn`t there be a change in e.g. eggs preparation style?). I travel a lot at work and this breakfast style is unacceptable at such hotel like yours. This is a strong reason why we want to choose a different hotel next year. Other than that, staff was very nice a helpful (especially at reception and the Slovakian waitress - I`m sorry I don`t remember her name), hotel looks much nicer after the refurbishment and the stay in overal was nice. Only the three above mentioned things didn`t make it 100%.

Second time and again it was all good, nothing need to change. Son was a bit sick and they helped us really good with everything. Perfect service, friendly people, and next year we booked already for the 3th time in this hotel. See you in 2024.

The Location was absolutely stunning. Very convenient. Excellent kitchen, comfortable rooms.Staff is very kind, flexinle and helpful and the owners are always around to make sure the guests are happy. We will surely come back again.

A nice hotel with friendly staff. The economic room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The food was wonderful with a great choice. We went to Livigno for the skiing and it was very close to one of the chair lifts and had a regular bus service for the other side of town.

Camera (deluxe family) bella, sufficientemente spaziosa, curata e confortevole; bagno grande con ampia doccia e presenza di finestra. Struttura, in generale, un pò datata, soprattutto all'esterno e nella sala ristorante, quest'ultima decisamente da "rinfrescare" perché non in linea con stanza e zona bar/relax. Personale di sala (ristorazione) non tutto all'altezza; servizio migliorabile. Spazio per il servizio colazione un pò piccolo.

We came here for the first time, with another couple. Livigno is almost five hours from our home in Italy, but it was well worth it. Our room was simple, warm, quiet and with a lovely view. The staff was exemplary ready to help with any request. The comforters were plush and kept us quite warm even when outside the temperature got down to 30 degrees celsius and has snowed up high. The hotel is very quiet. The kitchen and staff are very conscientious and helpful. Livigno is well known for it's skiing, and the amazing Alps that surround it. In the Summer there is a healthy presence of motorcycle bikers, mountain bikers and hikers There is an Emergency Room, pharmacy and health center nearby and also a tram you can take to see the surrounding mountains. All in all, it is a lovely hotel in a lovely location, run and staffed by lovely people. Marika, Luigi and Valentina were friendly, helpful and simply amazing.

Compared to our previous stays at the Hotel Margherita in Livigno, this time there have been big changes, unfortunately for the worse. We ordered a stay with breakfast, unfortunately at 9 am you can't actually eat anything anymore. The only dish is actually scrambled eggs with sausage, unfortunately the scrambled eggs cannot be eaten, they are gray from constant heating. One day, there weren't even any eggs for scrambled eggs in the kitchen, so we had to eat dry products, person from the kitchen told us that eggs are finished...and that's it. The hotel restaurant lacks service, unfortunately you cannot eat pizza that was available in previous years. Lady from the staff said that there are no people to work in the kitchen, unfortunately we were able to feel it. In the sauna we used, the towels have holes so large that sometimes the whole leg can enter them. Overall big changes for the worse. Unpleasant owners who does not understand how to improve the quality of services provided by the hotel.
