Travelodge Caernarfon

Stayed due to last minute job in the area, ease of check in and room was comfortable and clean, only downside is that their is no car park at the hotel not too expensive though.

The room felt dark and neglected. There were so many housekeeping and maintenance issues that needed attention. We have many photos. We didn’t complain at the time because it was Easter and we didn’t think we’d find anywhere else to stay with two dogs.

Don't stay here unless you are desperate. Stunk of **** in the corridor which was not pleasant. The windows were filthy and people just love to let their doors slam shut.

Clean and comfortable room.Quiet enough, didn't hear the noise that other reviewers complained about Maids didn't change towels despite putting a notice on the door, No on site parking, had to find the offsite car park and then go through the hassle of setting up an account to pay via phone Staff were great though, helpful and cheerful. In general it was adequate and we were happy enough. A bit pricey though

Lovely stay, beds were comfy and breakfast was lovely, included in our booking but was based at the restaurant next door. Really good location too. Home bargains / Asda and Morrisons in walking distance. Staff in hotel were extremely friendly and helpful

Good position, very clean, great staff, overall a very pleasant stay. Quiet hotel with quite surroundings. Excellent Chinese restaurant around the corner FU's. If heading that way again I would be more than happy on a return stay.

No parking facilities for guests, pay for the privelege then walk to the hotel. Breakfast box was tasteless cornflakes like cardboard. No sugar for tea, allergic to sweetners, no soap at the handbasin.

This modern Travelodge is just a few minutes stroll along the waterfront from the walled town of Caernarfon. There you will find the historically important and intact castle, town walls, places to eat and access to a few of the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways services. So, you can access Snowdonia via train. "On-site" with the Travelodge, you have a harbour and pub with tables overlooking the harbour. It is also on the routes of a few long-distance footpaths. Between the main road and the Travelodge is a Morrison's Supermarket (with many services including a cafe). Close to Morrisons are bus stops for the very regular (5C) bus service to and from Bangor. These services also have stops at the train station in Bangor. The Travelodge itself was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff members went out of their way to be helpful. It was a very convenient place to stay in a beautiful location. If you do want a car park, there is one next door.
