The hotel and the staff were amazing, beautiful hotel with amazing location. One of the highlights of our France trip. From the moment we arrived we were given a glass of champagne, the concierge was very helpful making reservations at an amazing restaurant. Amazing overall experience. We will definitely return to the hotel on our next visit to the Loire Valley

Nice hotel. They still seem to have some logistic issues they need to work out. Room service was difficult to access, limited in offerings.

My husband and I stayed in Fleur de Loire for 3 nights in November. It was fantastic experience! Before our arrival, I requested help in organizing our visits to the Loire Valley castles, restaurants recommendations and booking, wine tasting scheduling, massage and spa scheduling. Miraculously, everything was arranged by the concierge Chief, Geraldine Debayle, and it overcame all our best expectations! When we arrived, all tickets were prepared, all was done. We did not have any headache with routine and spend time only for pleasure and discovery of the Loire valley castles. All the staff in the hotel, spa, and related restaurant were super-polite and professional. The hotel is situated in the renovated XV century (or so) hospice with contemporary ambiance, materials, and technologies. It gives a lovely perspective of history combined with contemporary comfort. The location is stunning: it faces Blois with its famous chateau, cathedral, the Loire river and the old bridge. The restaurant is Amour Blanc Fleur is elegant and delicious. The spa, indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room are clean and quiet. Massage therapists are very professional. We had the most memorable wine testing organized by Geraldine in the caves of Leonardo da Vinci's house in Clos Luce with an amazing wine specialist, Daniel Gatay. It was a fairytale experience! We appreciate everything and we wish we could stay in Fleur de Loire longer!!!!

This is a new hotel (less than 2 years old) and it’s wonderful! From the moment that you arrive on the property, you’re treated like royalty. The valet came outside to park our car and collect our suitcases, which was very posh. The front desk staff are extremely friendly. After checking in she walked us to our room and explained all of the items we should know. Gave us directions for the restaurants and spa. She is very sweet. We picked the duplex apartment with river view. It’s a perfect 2 story with gorgeous views on both levels. The bed is very comfortable and the bathrobes and slippers are very nice. To get to the breakfast room you unfortunately have to walk outside. We were unprepared for this and it was rainy. Once we were inside the breakfast area our grumpiness went away. The breakfast was fantastic! Very fresh and flavorful. There’s a large variety of smoked fish, meat and cheese. There’s fruit, yogurts, nuts cereals and wonderful pastries. My favorite is the chocolate almond croissant. They even made scrambled eggs for me with cheese and spinach. They were very good. We reserved the indoor lap pool after breakfast. It’s beautiful and the perfect temperature. We really enjoyed swimming laps and relaxing. For lunch we treated ourselves to the 2 star Michelin restaurant called Christophe Hay. It was literally the best meal we’ve ever had. Monsieur Hay greeted us to welcome us and ask if we had any questions. He’s very friendly and his English is perfect. We opted for the 6 courses, but with all of the extras it was more like 10 courses. The wine pairings were perfectly selected by the wine steward. After our meal manager Stephen was kind enough to show us the garden where Monsieur Hay grows most of his ingredients. It’s nice to know the meal is so organic. We highly recommend staying at this beautiful hotel. If we’re in the area in the future, we will for sure stay at this beautiful hotel.

Beautiful hotel with lots of potential BUT! We had a lot of small issues in literally every step of the hotel and gave feedback and we were not taken serious at all. Well at least the owner took the time to hear us out after the sales manager tried to silence us with a cheap bottle of house wine. Classic move. Although the hotel is beautiful and although I have no doubt that the 2* Michelin Reataurant sure is amazing, the rest of the service does not live up to the expectations. For 300++ a night and 5* on the door I don't want oxidated wine, pasta on the floor, flat sparkling wine, overly salted food, forgotten orders and definitely no expired joghurt for breakfast. Even though you don't agree (owner) this is not a 5* level service. Especially the attitude of the management was disappointing which was the worst of the experience.

My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary here. The hotel and restaurant staff were utterly thoughtful: we were upgraded to a beautiful duplex suite overlooking the river and greeted with a room strewn with rose petals and a bottle of chilled crémant. The Christophe May restaurant has all its food locally sourced and artfully prepared… not over the top experimental at all. Quite contrary, full of soul and clearly thoughtfully curate and paired… the sauces were all so flavorful yet delicately prepared so as not to over power the main ingredients. We will be back… even without a celebration as an excuse, assuming we can even get a reservation in the future!

When you get no sleep it ruins everything Arrived on time but kept waiting 40 mins for room in blistering heat Room was red hot and asking numerous times if aircon was working eventually got a fan which did nothing just blew hot air . Other rooms were cooked so no idea why this room was hot but heard other guests complaining at reception !! Went to pool you get an allocated time slot NO towels !!! NO staff so could not use pool ! Hotel appears to be run by young people no one in charge they all seem way out of depth a man at the bar was waiting for his food for over an hour . The barman was run off his feet doing room service , terrace and bar orders he was sweating and shaky felt sorry for him as no help given to him Food in restaurant was very good lots of mid course appetisers etc lovely view of Blois people were having to serve their own wine as again not enough staff Leaving you got attacked by thousands of bugs they were everywhere all over any light inside the hotel they were not cleaned away and are dead in windows and humorous cobwebs in the light fittings not a good look Get more staff !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything about this hotel worked — it was nice, clean, comfortable, convenient, has helpful staff, a great restaurant, walking distance into Blois, easy and fast valet parking, convenient to drive into/out of for day trips. We didn’t try the spa, so can’t comment. We also didn’t try the fancy restaurant. Blois is convenient to most area chateaux. The town of Blois is small, but authentic. You can see the town sites in a day, but the Fleur de Loire is a terrific base for several days. Definitely recommend.

Exemplary hotel and so sad we felt it necessary to downgrade due to dreadful breakfast cooking. Anyway the hotel - the staff were hugely attentive and personable. We would single out the valet parking staff for special praise. However what an insult to charge 15 Euros to park. That ridiculous charge offended us! Our room was comfortable but far too hot even with the air on at full blast. The staff however worked very hard to find a room that, because of my incapacity, was near to reception. Now to the let-down - the dreadful breakfast. We stood at the entrance for ages completely ignored. Rowdy groups of children running around and hugely noisy. I am sure my fellow gourmands have seen the video of Albert and Michel Roux arguing about cooking an omelet. This chef could do with a lesson in the basics! (Hope he didn’t belong to Chef Hay’s brigade). Flat, flabby, stodgy and resembling Verstappen’s slick tyres drenched in oil that wasn’t butter. It was absolutely dreadful! Add the fact the the buffet had been emptied by the hordes of kids and the total lack of viennoiseries and bread made the experience and the reflection on the hotel bad! We are returning on the 2 September to relish Chef Hay’s stunning menu. What a shame he is connected to that other shambles of a restaurant.
