Premier Inn London Hammersmith (Shepherds Bush Road)

cleaning room service needs to be requested in advance at the front desk. However, even after making the request, the cleaning service was consistently overlooked. Simple requests such as towel replacements were missed multiple times within a week. The room was generally clean, and the hairdryer had sufficient power.

the rooms are clean and have big window, the windows are double glass so i cannot hear the noise from the street. the staffs are very nice and helpful, the lounge and waiting areas are real big and comfortable the nearby areas are real cool

Overall, it was a good experience. Easy check-in on the computer, but staff were available if we needed help. Slightly disappointed with the top floor room as it had a sloping roof with a velux non opening window. Made it feel claustrophobic. Air con good but needed fresh air. I would recommend but you need to park elsewhere or use public transport to get there.

Hotel is ok but the reception was very poor. The advertising for Premier Inn really focuses on the fact that once you arrive you can relax. Well, forget that!!! We booked a family room for the four of us. There were only 2 beds made up when we checked in. I went down to report to reception who gave the impression that we were being difficult. We were asked to wait which we did for 15-20 mins. It was gone 9pm and our children were tired and wanting to go to bed so I went back down to reception. Eventually I persuaded them to give me the bed linen (as well as the 2 towels we were missing) so I could make the spare bed (which the receptionist did not know was under the double bed) up myself. There was no offer of any refund or discount so I asked and the best that could be done was to give us a free breakfast. That said the breakfast was tasty but a LOT of unnecessary plastic wrapping for food. In fact there was very little visible evidence int eh hotel as a whole that they were trying to be environmentally responsible. We usually stay at Ibis but thought we would try Premier Inn. I think we will go back to Ibis!!

This hotel is perfectly located within a few minutes walk of both tube stations. Many restaurants around as well as two grocery and a fabulous laundry nearby. We chose a premier room which was well appointed and great wifi. Note standards room have wifi but it may drop out alot. Strangle the shower had two types of body wash but no Shampoo! Standard rooms have a hair and body wash and it is great. Premier rooms also have a fridge and coffee machine, but only coffee for 2 days and it was not restocked upon room cleaning (just towels got swapped). It also has an ironing and ironing board (not in standard rooms) Breakfast can be purchased - but for £10.99 we decided to do our own thing.

This is our first choice for trips to London involving things in the south/south-west of the city. The location is very easy to reach by bus or tube from Euston station and it is then a short trip to Kew Gardens, the National Archives,etc. There is also a great choice of places to drink and eat within easy walking distance. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfasts very good.

The first time we thought it was a long walk up the Shepard’s Bush Road but it’s only 25 yards from the Hammersmith tube station. Fabulously convenient. Le Petit Citron French bistro is about 250 yds up the road and is pretty good. Other restaurants around Brook Green. We always get a premium room and an early check in. Very predictable clean and convenient.
