Stunning experience from start to finish which we cannot fault…amazing room at beautiful Victorian classic style pub with sensational Sunday roast…already planning a return visit but may bring reinforcements to help us with the Thors Hammer lunch lol

Quaint hotel with an amazing pub attached. Excellent access to the train line to get you off on your adventure. Room #2 was remodeled recently and looks fresh and updated. Large claw-foot tub to bath in and a separate glass shower. Vaulted toilet, heated towel bar add a bit of class to the room. Only two real concerns: the air conditioner has not worked properly in three days and getting it definitively fixed hasn’t happened. Sleeping has been horrible as it’s very warm, have had to sleep with insecure doors open to allow for air circulation. TV volume is also governed and watched shows were hard to heard.. The overall experience was good, but the issue with the A/C unit made our stay way less enjoyable. Lack of quality sleep is a game changer when vacationing. Three days of complaining about it with no definitive fix was also frustrating. The overall experience was good, but the issue with the A/C unit was frustrating and ongoing.

The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The bed was really good with excellent linens and the en-suite was well equipped. Unfortunately the tv didn’t work and, as it was late on Christmas Eve, no engineer was available to fix it. I was, however, offered a room change if we wanted. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the cooked breakfasts which were fabulous. The eggs Royale with hot locally-smoked salmon were memorable! All in all, I thoroughly recommend this lovely hotel for anyone wanting a quiet stay in London’s western suburbs.

If you are looking for a great experience, stay here. The Pub is a popular spot and the surrounding area has a few shops to visit. It’s away from the bustle of London, but is a short ride to downtown London. The rooms were quiet and had no complaints about anything. We loved to sit on the street and have a drink and feel like part of the crowd after a full day of walking London sites.

I’ve stayed at The Alma twice now and can definitely recommend it. It’s located opposite Wandsworth Town station and has excellent links to central London. Battersea power station is close by and well worth a visit too. The hotel itself is a great base in a quiet area with plenty of choices for eating out nearby. Our room was warm and cosy and the bed was super comfy, with extra pillows if required. We also ate breakfast in the hotel and the continental section was complimentary for hotel guests which was a bonus.

A very enjoyable city break weekend. At the Alma we had a Lovely room, which was very well catered and serviced. The breakfasts were fantastic, which made for very pleasant lazy weekend mornings. the location is also very convenient, literally a stones throw from the train station

This is my second time to stay at the Alma and I have booked again for Feb. It is a very busy pub but up in the rooms it is so quiet. The rooms are very spacious and very comfortable. Ideal location, train station just across the road and some lovely little cafes and restaurants close by. We had a lovely roast dinner in the restaurant at the Alma. I'm looking forward to my next trip.

Classic Pub/Inn with very friendly staff and simple, elegant, functional, nicely appointed rooms. Space was not overly large but quite comfortable and fine for online work in the room. There is no "lift" so be prepared to haul your luggage up stairs. Didn't get a chance to fire up the rotary dial telephone in the room. Restaurant meal with aged prime rib was outstanding. Beer/ale choices with local craft brews, were quite satisfying, as expected. The Wandsworth station across the street is handy for accessing public transit to get around London and onward.
