This is not your standard hotel The rooms are unusual and painted all black. Sp**** furnishings, limited amenities. The hotel apparently only has 12 rooms, I got there just after the manager left, at 10 PM, instruction to call on my phone, he gave me the two door codes and the room code. The lobby is little more than a bar. The TV is on some app type service and the signal frequently breaking up, you do use a standard remote. It is in an older office building and business area with little around at night, immediate area, basically almost deserted, coffee shop across the street however for the morning. Lots of stuff maybe 3- 6 blocks away like theaters. There is a place to pull in to unload your car at the end of the row of parking spaces. If you can find a spot in front of the hotel, you can park 8PM-8AM free and use an app( see the meters) to buy 2 hours for 2 bucks at 8 AM. Note the number on the meter. Lots of parking lots around. There is a small fridge with a half bag of ice and a electric pot to boil water but no coffee service. Only real complaint: there was not a glass in the room and no tissues in the holder. Not surprisingly there is a lot of street noise. I don't know if the area has a lot of crime. Being from NYC, I was not afraid but knew I had to use all my street smarts outdoors at night to be sure. It was an odd rather than bad experience.
