Island Cottage Guesthouse

After completing my booking, I contacted the hotel to request a waterfront room. I was fortunate that one was still available, and I truly appreciate the hotel’s effort in accommodating my request. The ocean view from the room just stunning. Although the room is not very large, it is exceptionally well equipped-including a multicooker and a washing machine, which makes it very convenient for longer stays. A hairdryer is not provided in the room, but it is available upon request. The location is excellent: the port and a well-known Portuguese restaurant are within walking distance. The neighborhood itself feels safe and pleasant. Overall, a very good stay.

Beautiful location out on shark island. Walking distance to town and the park on shark island. Clean, comfortable rooms. Very friendly personnel. The massage in the SPA was very relaxing, especially after 8 days on the motor bike. Breakfast can be had in the guesthouse next door.

The guesthouse is located on shark island and felt safe and secure. Parking is off street and there is a security guard outside. The rooms were large and lovely and Patricia was very friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The view from the outside seating area was amazing. Comfortable enough inside. A small two seater settee or twin soft armchairs would have made it perfect for us.

Clean & good location but cold & poorly furnished + Clean + Great sea view + Comfortable bed + Shower had plentiful hot water - Icy cold. Insufficient heating in winter. - Too little equipment for a 3 day stay. Apartment with two spoons, two plates, two mugs etc. - A little small for an apartment and a bit soulless. - Building site next door (August 2024).
