Mercure Luoyang

Luoyang was the last stop of my trip with my mother in May. We drove five hours from Yan'an to Luoyang at night. It was quite late when we arrived, so we booked the Mercure Hotel online. I didn't know it was newly opened when I booked it. The front desk staff was very friendly when I checked in, and they even gave us some fruit. The Luoyang Museum and Longmen Grottoes that we visited during the two days of our stay were very close to the hotel. We drove ourselves, which made our trip more convenient, and parking was also very convenient. Before leaving, the hotel staff also recommended local specialties to us, and there was a supermarket across the street with very cheap prices [strong] so I brought some. Due to our travel time, the hotel staff extended our check-out time to 3 pm [strong], and they really arranged our trip very attentively [love]

It is a 10-minute walk to Quanshun Shopping Plaza, which is very large. Kaiyuan Lake is surrounded and very suitable for walking. It is very convenient to go to Longmen Grottoes and various gardens to see peony flowers. There are direct buses around, and taxis are only 15 yuan. It is a little far from the old city, and it is also convenient to take a taxi or subway. There is a banquet downstairs, and the price is moderate.

This is my first time staying at Mercure Hotel. The hotel is relatively new, clean, well-equipped, and the front desk service is also very good. The overall experience is very nice and I will choose to stay here again in the future.

Although the furniture is simple, there are many things that should be included. The hygiene is very good, the bedding is comfortable, the appliances are smart, the wet and dry bathrooms are separated without interfering with each other, the environment is quiet, and there is a lakeside park not far from the hotel where you can take a walk. The service is good and you feel at home as soon as you arrive at the hotel.
