Evolution Dive and Beach Resort

Loved the hospitality and enthusiasm of the staff and dive crew, especially their eye for details such as remembering our names, allocating labelled gear baskets for each of us and supporting us every step of our dive trip! The drinks and food were delicious and large portions, and the bed and pillow blanket was so comfortable. Special shout out to dive instructors Vince and Elgin for looking out for me underwater all the time. Thank you Evo!

We completed our SDI open water course here, first time ever diving and couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Evolution. Right from the start it felt very professional but very personal. Gino (our instructor) and Ross (a dive master in training) were great fun and clearly experienced divers. They gave detailed feedback so we could progress quickly through the course to do the thresher shark dive, which was just incredible! All the other members of staff were always very helpful and made the overall experience very pleasant. Would thoroughly recommend and I just hope we will be back sometime soon!

One of the best PADI 5 Star resorts we have ever been to! Clean rooms, amazing food, excellent Diving Equipment anfäd affordable prices. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Even transport organization was done by Evolution. Nothing to complain about. Our Dive Instructor Kleng and also all other dive masters are doing a great job. In teaching and also protecting the ocean! Of course we have seen the Thresher Sharks (basically 100% hitrate in our dives) sometimes more than 7 in one dive! Evolution is a truly pretty, warm and very comfortable place to stay. Clean, tidy, well organised, with good (quality) food and drinks choice. Of course, the service is excellent as well. The dive base is run diligently and efficiently by a great staff. Personal "coup de coeur": this place is environmentally-friendly as much as possible... it is even difficult to spot it coming from the sea :) Hopefully, we'll come back one day.

If I could leave six stars I would. Delicious and nutritious vegetarian meals, experienced and wonderful local dive masters, a resort that cares about their staff and the island of Malapascua. Did my advanced SDI here and it was wonderful

We took our shoes off on arrival and put them back on only at departure. Beautiful place, great staff, and excellent diving. The sharks, wow!

Evolution was by far one of the best dive resorts we have ever been and we have done many before. If you are looking for the most professional and best instructors for doing courses or even Tech Diving, this is your place. We did the rescue course and our instructor Bran and his assistant Leif were amazing... they really thought about how we could have the best experience, and we did!!! Best course I have ever done with Padi. The rooms were also ok, only the restaurant was a bit basic but it didn't matter, next door was one of the best restaurants on the island.

We had the most fantastic time at Evolution. We started our holiday in the Philippines with a few days at Evolution doing our Open Water Course. It’s the best decision we made. The staff are brilliant, but the standout was our experienced instructor, Bran. He’s thorough and very calm, which made us feel safe and relaxed the whole time. We loved the fact our confined dives were in a confined area of sea, as opposed to a pool- this made us feel very comfortable for our first Open Water Dives. After we were certified, we completed our Deep Dive certification and got to dive with the Thresher Sharks. What an amazing experience, we feel very lucky to have done that. Again, Bran was a great instructor throughout. Have the Crepes at the Craic House! They’re the best we’ve had in the Philippines, I can’t find another one as good. You have to try out the local market area for food as well. The prawns and squid we had were cooked right in front of us and were delicious. Make sure you bring a good water bottle- no disposable bottles are sold or allowed on site for sustainability reasons (which owe loved). You’ll have the best time if you choose to stay here!
