The view and scenery of the hotel is excellent , is quiet and peaceful and food is very good too.
Although the choice of buffet breakfast is limited. The swimming pool provides warm water and also have sauna and steam bath

The hotel is in a beautiful location. But the room is very tired and not clean at all. We found thick dust on the bedside tables.

Room was freezing cold on arrival, heating put on but ineffective due to loose window. Could not work on laptop as so cold and slept clothed. Asked for portable heater to be told you're unlucky theyve all gone out to other guests.
Staff tried and I was credited with my evening meal, however this only benefits my employrr who pays the bill.
Would say in every other way was fine and wpuld return but only in Summer

Excellent service from the staff on every occasion, the hotel is aged but still operating, Our room was separate from the main hotel building where the restaurant, spa and other facilities were located, in an out building. The location is commutable to cotswold but still a good half an hour drive to most attractions.

Comfy clean bed, filthy carpet tho, had a courtyard room. Great facilities, pool and spa are lovely. Staff all very friendly and food was great lots of options and plenty of allergen awareness and gluten free options for my Wife.

Wonderful stay at Cricklade House Hotel, I would highly recommend it. Very cosy and clean room, the Spa was well equipped and nice and clean too. We had dinner and the food was first class, so was the breakfast. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

It’s a great property. Great rooms and service. I was bothered with thing, where they charged us 10 bucks extra for a 15 mins late checkout. My concern was 1) we weren’t informed of such charges beforehand 2) hotel was mercenary in this rule/ decision and didn’t take into account the minute genuine delay. I’d have given 5 stars otherwise.

We had a wonderful stay and as we were travelling south could only stay one night. Disappointingly the rooms and restaurant were dusty and a lot of dead fly on the window sills etc. Otherwise an enjoyable stay.

Bedroom was large and had a stunning view. As it was a double room it would have been nice if there had been two comfy chairs to sit and admire the view instead of one.
Enjoyed out stay.
