Bluesea Cala Millor

Amazing place if you’re coming only to chill, but as a solo traveler it wasn’t the best choice as there isn’t that much to do around the hotel. The hotel itself is amazing tho! Amazing food and service. (Mostly elderly btw if you’re young this isn’t the place to be)

We have just returned from this hotel. We booked with On The Beach. We arrived at the hotel after travelling from the airport for just under 2 hours. We could hear the music from the street as we approached the hotel. The reception was bright and airy. We were checked in quickly, paid our tourist tax, had our passports scanned and given the cards for our room. We were directed to block 2 which is across the road. When we arrived at our room we were disappointed to see the room was not as the photos show on the brochure we used to book with (see photos) The room was clean but it was very tired, very basic, the wardrobe smelt fousty (we kept it open all week), the bathroom is in need of maintenance (it’s an over the bath shower) the glass door is secured to the side of the bath so if you have mobility issues you might struggle to climb in. The bottom of the bath is very stained from what can only be described as dirty feet marks. (See photos). The balcony was a stone wall in front of you, not glass as advertised which was very tired with 2 chairs and a table that has been well used. The wall was used as an ashtray by the previous guests. (See photos). We went back to reception and asked for this to be addressed, this didn’t happen. The restaurant is spacious enough, the staff were very attentive and the chefs could be seen checking regularly. The food was basic, buffet food, if you want a full dinner not buffet you’ll be better off going out. Food overall not great but manageable if you like buffet. The all inclusive food operates during set times, food or snacks aren’t available all day, the bar is available until 11pm all inclusive. The location is great. You can see the beach and blue water from the hotel. It’s a very short walk (2 mins) to the vast selection of shops/bars/restaurants and beach. Overall this hotel needs maintenance and sorting out, very poor in block 2. If you are happy with stag/hen style parties, budget, basic and bland this is for you. In my opinion give it a wide berth!!

Can't fault the place,room is o good size,bathroom a little small but otherwise good and clean,great shower,food is tasty,a little limited selection but good none the less,staff friendly,poolside clean and litter free,pay 1 euro for your tumbler which I thought is a great idea as no glasses left lying around and you get refunded when hand glass back,can't understand the negative comments from what I saw,you but 3 star expect 3 star and not the ritz,tour holiday is what you make it,if returning to the area wouldn't hesitate to stay again

The hotel is located in a great location. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shopping area and activities. The hotel and rooms are nice and clean. The staff are helpful and friendly. The only thing I can say is they need a bit more options when it comes to meal times. But overall we had a great stay.

Arrived 14:35 after an 11 hr journey to be told lunch finished at 14:30, as we were AI I asked about snacks at bar, only fruit!! No chips burgers, sandwiches ice cream, had to go out and pay for lunch as dinner wasn’t served until 19:30. They put out croissants on bar everyday (that’s the snacks) pool was small & cold. Didn’t see an entertainment rep which others have spoken about, wasn’t any entertainment in the four nights we were there. Food was cold but quite a selection, with breakfast being best. Good location, close to beach which is good as you couldn’t get a bed round small cold pool as towels on beds from early. On day of departure had to check out at 11 as wasn’t picked up until 17:00 was told there were lockers opposite which charged us 2 euro non refundable, went to get something from case cost another 2 euro. Had a complimentary shower which was good but very dirty after several guests had used it. Did not find the staff friendly and the rooms were very tired looking. Wouldn’t return to this hotel AI isn’t worth paying for. Cala Millor was lovely though, beach great.

This is my 3rd time at this hotel, it's situated in a fantastic position, with shops, restaurants and so many things to do near by. The entertainment coordinator Elena is amazing and provides good entertainment, which is mainly in the blue side bar. Great place for solo travelers as everyone is so friendly and it won't take you long to find friends 🙂 Food is average, breakfast good but for the price it's what I'd expect, main comments are mainly the evening meals, maybe need to make a few changes as it's primarily English holiday makers. Back again in July 🙂

For 3 stars and the price we paid, this hotel is great value! Pro’s: breakfast was better than some 4 stars, clean room everyday, friendly staff, we specifically asked to be in block 1 after reading reviews and they sorted it no problem if we were happy to wait which we did. There was 1 of everything for lunch and dinner, it could get a bit boring but again for the price it was worth it. Actual Fanta and Coca Cola served and in the dining hall. Pastries and bread rolls seemed very fresh. Perfect location to pop out. Towels available to rent for the week. A** outside. Cons: no air con available as it’s too early in the year for them but the room was boiling, the shower leaked when being used but probably just needs sealing, if we stayed any longer than 4 nights the lunch / dinner would have been too much, only 2 cocktail options (I drank these so didn’t bother me), everywhere is no smoking which is a bit frustrating as a smoker on holiday I enjoy sitting with a cocktail and cigarette but we had to pop down the steps instead. It was very clean because of this though. Remember to bring change, it’s €1 for a cup for drinks but you get this back, towels are €10 deposit you get back plus €2 a day or €8 a week (must be paid cash) and then the pool table or bingo etc is €1-2 Overall, I have stayed in a LOT worse 3 stars and even some worse 4 star hotels. We were very happy to be able to have a chilled holiday for cheap it was definitely worth the money and we would stay here again!

Picked this for a cheap weekend getaway in April. Arrived at 2am and were grateful for the rolls and cold meats, a nice touch. Location was excellent, rooms clean but worn but perfect for a weekend away. Hotel is in blocks and we were across the road in block 2, slightly noisy at night. Pool was ok but surrounded by loud people drinking and playing music during the day so we opted for the beach which is 2 mins away. Went all inclusive but wasn’t overly impressed. During the day the pastries leftover from breakfast were placed on the bar as snacks. Food was average but one night wasn’t great so we opted to eat out. Breakfast was ok and a nice lunch one of the days. All in all was average hotel, great value for a weekend away, location was great, right in the resort of Cala Millor.

This hotel was amazing for our weekend away. Very clean, comfy bed, fantastic staff, every where very clean, lovely vibe around the pool, no rowdiness. Food fine and the AI drinks great, very good wine and pool bar staff are brilliant. Lovely added touch on late arrival to go in dining room for food and drinks.Will definitely return
