After exploring around 30 camping sites across Italy, my stay at Residence Onda Blu Resort stands out as the least enjoyable. Initially, it gives off an impression of being a high-end destination, with an elegant reception, impeccably dressed staff, and a fancy name. Opting for a tent accommodation due to my bike trip, my experience took a distressing turn during the night when an unrestrained dog roamed near my tent. I have a genuine fear of dogs, exacerbated by a recent incident involving unattended dogs in Italy. This situation left me too anxious to venture outside my tent as the dog could've attacked me. I was also fearing the dog might mark its territory on my belongings. My concerns were shared with the reception during check-out, but the response from the staff was a vague mumble in Italian. Another negative thing was that someone was having a party until 3am in the morning in their bungallo. If dogs are allowed within the camping grounds, it's crucial that they are supervised to ensure the safety and comfort of all travelers. This experience has undoubtedly been my most disappointing camping experience to date.

Very clean and beautiful property. The mobile homes were very new and tidy, spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 children (8 years). Maybe with three kids a little crowded. Pool top, large and very clean - great fun. For the kids and us perfect, no restrictions. Bar directly at the beach, only a few steps to walk down. Beautiful view, good food and the prices were really ok. Never had so many Aperol Spritz in my life. ;-) Friendly staff at the reception- they spoke very good german as well. The whole residence was full of beautiful plants and flowers, very very well looked after. We definitely recommend this place and are extremely sad that we had to leave today!

It was very friendly, great pool and area around. The coffee at the breakfast buffet was really not good and not hot. Also the bread was not so fresh. But the rest was really good and delicious. The appartments are quiet a bit old, but ok.

The location is exceptional, the facilities (on the whole) very good - do remember your own loo roll. The lady who runs the little cafe next to the pool is fantastic! Whilst we ultimately had a great time, it was bookeneded by some serious challenges getting on to and off the pitch. Our motorhome is 8 X 2.7 X 2.5 and although the pitches are large, access is incredibly restricted due to overgrown / poorly maintained trees, poorly positioned lamp-posts and sited tourers that creep outside of their pitch boundaries. There was no alternative offered by the site team (bit disappointing) and it was only thanks to some very patient other residents that we managed to get onto the pitch (with minor damage to our van!). I did email the site via their weblink once we were settled, but sadly got no reply and no follow up from the staff to see if we were ok and no assistance when we came to leave. Site is worth a recommended - the location alone makes that an easy one, but be very conscious of your rig size before booking

All perfect, coming soon again, very friendly at restaurant, reception and pool, at the garden, all very clean, the whole facility is in a very good condition, the garden was very well kept, the way to the sea was short

We had a bad stay. We had some neighbours ho made very much noise they had a dog and it barks every time they were outside the apartment. We told the receptionist the problem and we decided to leave 2 days before. We are very disappointed, we pay over 1700 euros and couldn’t stay relaxed.

We loved the place, the beach, the pool and every thing. We recived a new room, and the appliance were not conected such as tv, refregertor and air conditioners, we left the room without useing the air conditioners and there was no one how can help us at 8 pm

Everything was perfect. Maybe the houses are a bit pricey but they are really good too. We were lucky with our house location but I saw a few we wouldn’t be happy with to they in. The restaurant and food quality and prices are just perfect! Bit weird you have to pay 15,- each time you want to charge your electric car. Last evening just wanted to leave with full charged car had to pay full amount while charged a little.

A big plus that they received us at night. The apartment was relatively clean. A set of towels as described. No cleaning products. Shampoo and gel for one person. Dishwashing liquid for two days was enough. We had a beautiful view from the apartment. Location quite good. Everywhere close. The pool clean. A big plus for the person who takes care of it. He constantly made sure it was clean. Generally noisy in the evening. Monday and Tuesday was constantly heard lawnmowers which strongly disturbed the rest! Restaurant service - rather little cultural. Once the gentleman was disturbed that I wanted too many rolls. If you sell it, what do I care! Generally the resort Ok, but for this money expects definitely more!
