Lovely hotel. Fabulous newly renovated rooms, gorgeous dining room, great children’s area, pool. Generous breakfast with much choice. Lovely family run resort. Highly recommend. Wonderful restaurants nearby. If you do not have a car, the hotel shuttle is great. I had an urgent medical issue that required a visit to the local ER. The hotel staff were simply marvelous.

We stayed for a week as a family, and I would call the stay without exaggerating as the golden standard how a summer holiday should look like. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed both the beach and the pool. The loft suit we stayed in was spacious and well equipped. We travelled without a car, so both the buss shuttle to the train station or hiring bikes worked very well and allowed us the maximum of the week. Well done to the staff at HVT.

From the outside it looks a bit small, but coming in you get a very warm welcome, rooms are spacious and clean, bathroom very nice and the service is Superstar!
Pool area in a perfect size.
Breakfast extremely nice and something for every taste.
Best recommendations from here.

The hotel is skillfully renovated and every detail is close to perfect! Breakfast includes everything you would want, and the staff is helpful and polite. The hotel serves a dinner every evening and the food is very good. You can rent bicycles from the hotel and they come handy if you want to visit the beach or Massa Centre. If you want a smaller family run hotel outside crowded tourist centers, this is the one!

After a few years we returned to this hotel which we had already appreciated at the time. The service is always impeccable as is the courtesy of the staff and the owners who are always present. Our attic room had everything you needed and a nice little balcony from which you could see the sea. The shower door didn't close properly and this almost caused the bathroom to flood, something reported to the reception. Superb breakfast, nothing to say. Even if the location is not the best compared to the beach, if we return to Massa this will be our reference hotel

I really appreciate the breakfast, excellent in quality and varied in choice. the check-in service (carried out at a late time in the evening) was very courteous and attentive. The location is strategic and optimal for those who travel between Avenza, Carrara and Massa for work but the surroundings, on foot, do not offer much. Even on vacation, it's better to move to slightly more distant beaches but the hotel offers bike rental which is an added value, although the night lighting in the adjacent streets leaves something to be desired, but it doesn't depend on the hotel. Large free internal parking. Better to choose the rooms not on the ground floor.
