I’m a fan of Home2Suites in general, but not of this property or its management.
In our room we found that the thermostat was broken and would only operate on the “heat” setting (we were there in August). We also discovered that the bathroom sink would not drain and that there was no hand soap or adequate number of towels. When we brought these items to the attention of the front desk that night, they told us the hotel was full and they had no alternate accommodations available, but would “make a note” for management regarding our issues.
We remained in that room, but were not comfortable that night.
In the morning, when I asked to speak with management again, I was told I’d receive a call by days’ end. I requested a refund. I was told that they were not authorized to refund me, and that management would call in 2 days’ time. I am still waiting for that call after 3 days.
We were supposed to spend another night at that same property on the return trip in a week, but that reservation has been cancelled.
