Culture Resort

We traveled some time across Sri-Lanka, and I can tell, that it is the best hotel! Very nice, polite and attentive staff, comfortable rooms, tasty meals. The hotel is located in such lucky place so you can get to Mirissa beach or Talala beach in some 20-30 minutes by tuktuk, and these beaches are East and West sides of Island. Local beach is 5 min walking. The swiming pool is very nice. But the most I liked very much is unexplainable coolness in corridors, that helped to chill in hot weather.

Our experience with Culture Resort has been fabulous. We stayed there during a business trip, and from day one until the last, their excellent service was consistent. As an organization following corporate policy, the resort needed to be registered in our system, which was a somewhat time consuming process. However, Indu, who has been friendly with us since day one, cooperated without hesitation. Regarding our stay, we booked 4 double rooms and 1 quadruple room. All the rooms were spacious and well appointed, scoring top marks for cleanliness. It was really lovely. The washrooms were thoughtfully designed. As for the food, portions were generous and the taste was amazing. I highly recommend trying their Sri Lankan menu if you're a foreigner staying at the resort. It offered the best Sri Lankan rice and curries I've had in a while. What I loved most about this place was the authentic Sri Lankan atmosphere it gave.. Despite being there for business, I would definitely return to Culture Resort with my family and friends. I want to express my gratitude to Indu and Mr. Prasad for accommodating our last minute requests and arranging such a delightful stay. We need more people like Indu in the hospitality sector, because her service was excellent .. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone staying for business or leisure.

Very nice place infront of the sea. 1 min walk to Polhena beach. Comfortable, well designed rooms and friendly staff. Indu was very helpful in managing the booking and providing us with the services we need. They have a restaurant next to the hotel and their food is very good.

Amazing stay at the resort with exclusive hospitality. The staff is very courteous and mindful of your need and space. Best experience for ages. The staff advises on places to visit and also recommends great places for activities. Location is also serene

What a wonderful place to stay on your holiday. Both the owner and staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and we’ve never been happier at a local resort than here. The rooms were clean and spacious, serviced with amenities such as a TV and air conditioning, with ours overlooking the beautiful beach just outside. Food was fantastic and my kids are so so happy with our stay. Best decision I ever made this holiday.

Had a great time this week at the culture resort. We had stayed in Matara for only two days, but i couldnt think of anywhere else to stay than here. Located directly across from the ocean, there are several rooms and a resturaunt at the top and adjoining next to it. We had breakfast every morning (western or sri lankan style), and they give you more food than you can eat! We also did dinner at the adjoining resturaunt and it was fantastic cooking. I think my favorite thing about the resort, other than the location or food is the staff. Very friendly and helpful. I was a little under the weather, and without even asking i was provided water and medicine. Exceptional service & look forward to returning again!

Fantastic resort and fantastic service. The staff are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is as comfortable and enriching as possible. Lovely lovely people and would absolutely stay here again when we next visit Sri Lanka!

We had a wonderful stay with our family, 5 adults and 4 kids. The rooms were super clean, beds ultra comfortable and the pool was a ton of fun for the kids. The morning breakfast was amazing, started with a juice, we chose Sri Lankan - string hoppers, 3 types of bread, curries all tasted wonderful. Lots of tea and coffee. The staff and owner were very hospitable and accommodating and friendly faces! We will definitely be back and I would recommend this place to anyone.
