"I spent three nights here at the end of a busy tour of Sri Lanka. It is a wonderful place to relax set beside the Indian Ocean. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff were lovely, polite helpful, efficient and courteous. The food tasted lovely though perhaps there was less breadth of choice than some of the other hotels. This was not an issue when staying for a short period of time. One could never tire of sitting on the terrace watching the surfers or swimming in the infinity pool. There is also a lovely cove at the foot of the hotel were you can swim in the ocean. The manager was always on hand and engaged with the all guests. A delightful hotel. Next time I'll stay longer!"

"I had a wonderful stay at Mirissa Beach Inn. The hotel is perfectly located very close to the beach, which made my stay even more relaxing. I especially loved the balcony, it was peaceful and a perfect place to enjoy the natural surroundings. The breakfast was absolutely lovely, fresh, and delicious. A special thank you to the owner, who is an incredibly kind, helpful, and caring person. Their hospitality truly made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my stay. "Outpost is really good choice for Weligama trip during the season. Next to the quiet part of thr beach, tasty (but not cheap) cafe, comfortable rooms and very helpfull staff, strong wifi. But for offseason could be a bit offsided. No cafe around, nothing on the beach, need to walk to any store or activity. Several points to make your stay more comfortable: 1. Roomservice upon request 2. In beachfront rooms the beds are not fixed to tables behind them (as you see on foto). So be carefull, it moves =) 3. Ask about foot shower location in front of the hotel. It's a bit hidden."

Central Beach Inn

"First, let's talk about the location. It's undeniably excellent, within walking distance of the beach, and surrounded by numerous shops and restaurants. However, the room was extremely small, to the point that we barely had room to unpack our luggage. This was a significant issue for us, but what angered us most was that the water heater in the room was broken. We asked the front desk to fix it, and they said it would take a while. We replied that we would come back later to have dinner first, and indeed, we scheduled a repair for 7:30 PM. However, because the restaurant service was so slow, we returned to the hotel late, around 8:00 PM. The hotel staff said the repairman arrived at 7:30 PM, but no one answered the door, so they couldn't fix it now and would have to come the next morning. Good heavens! It's one thing for the hotel to have basic facilities malfunctioning, but at least they should fix it! Isn't the hotel supposed to provide 24-hour service for any issues? This is a hotel right by the sea. We definitely needed to shower after swimming in the sea; we couldn't possibly sleep with seawater and sand on us! I was furious. They wouldn't change our room or fix anything, forcing us to take cold showers. The next day, I felt a bit of a cold. I'll never book a hotel with this kind of service again. I don't recommend it; be careful, they won't solve any problems! There are many other hotels nearby; you can choose from other options. The location is also very good."

Coral Beach Hotel

"We stayed as a couple from April 12th to 17th. The staff was very friendly, and the view from the window was stunning. There's a café downstairs that barely disturbed us, except for the occasional smells from the kitchen. The hotel's location was great: the walk to the main street is shaded by trees, where you might spot chipmunks, and you can stop at the restaurant for coffee under a tree. After Mirisa, we drove to Hikkaduwa and appreciated the peace and tranquility. The room wasn't very comfortable. There's no place to put suitcases, no closet, coat hooks are nailed above the nightstand with a kettle, and there's only one chair. Room cleaning is available upon request; we requested daily cleaning. Beach towels are also available upon request. The room includes two bottles of water, tea, and coffee."
