Delphi Lodge

Delphi Lodge was an incredible experience. The property, itself, is stunning: thousands of acres, a private watershed, and an an ivy-covered home nestled into sharp mountains. The vibes are even better--picture the coziest country manor of the wealthy distant family member you never had (or maybe you do), with warm and excellent staff, an ample serve-yourself bar, comfy and cute furniture, great bathrooms and toiletries, and a dinner party every single night with your fellow lodgers and anyone else who happens to pop by for a (delicious, to boot) dinner. Staying at Delphi Lodge is that ever-elusive, truly unique experience. Thank you so much to Philip, Maura, Werner, Yvonne, and all the other staff, owners, and guests who made our first trip to Ireland so special.

We loved our trip to Ireland, and the Delphi Lodge is at the top of our list for the most memorable time. The Lodge is so relaxing and charming. If you stay here, you must dine at the Lodge. It's an amazing dinner, and you connect with other travelers, which makes it even more incredible. We loved the honor bar. You pour yourself a drink or grab a cold beer and sign the book of what you selected, and it's added to your bill. It felt very relaxed and homey. I picked a winner booking this Hotel/Lodge. Do yourself a favor and stay here. It's amazing ❤️

For years I've wanted to stay at Delphi Lodge. Just over 30km from home, finally we booked a night away and I was not disappointed! Located within a beautiful lakeside and mountain range setting your breath it taken away as you approach the lodge that is nestled in a tree grove. As stated in their information booklet, the lodge is not a hotel, it's a country house. It is beautifully kept, comfortable, cosy and clean. Our room was large, overlooking the lake, with a big bathroom and the best shower (bath and shower combo) I've ever experienced. The reception rooms (library, drawing and dining) were welcoming, with beautiful views. To top this all off was the magnificent food and wonderful staff (a special shout out to Geraldine and Maura who looked after us well, engaged in great chats and made our stay even more enjoyable). We really enjoyed the shared dining experience with other guests, who were extremely interesting. While fishing is their speciality, you don't need to fish or be a fisherman/woman to enjoy this lodge. Great walks and other activities to do in the area. But equally, just chilling out on the premises is wonderful. It's a special place, one that I can image can be enjoyed all year round. Looking forward to our next trip.

Outstanding place to stay at, nice view on the lake and forest nearby with many walking trails. Paradise for cycling too. Very nice staff. Very comfortable place with large bedrooms and bathrooms. An extraordinary evening meal prepared with local and organic food by a French chef. Gorgeous breakfast too with very good coffee. Worth the money! Do not hesitate!

What a beautiful place, from the moment u start up the driveway into the woods and arrive at the magnificent house, u will be in awe! The peaceful calm surrounds you and your stay begins. My sister and her partner booked their wedding here, a family occasion, and it was all held right there, from the Welcome dinner, the ceremony to the celebration party after. The comfort, the food, and the staff that made it all happen, they were just fantastic... nothing, and I mean nothing was too much trouble. Everything was just so, cleanliness, comfort, warmth and atmosphere so welcoming. The grounds and scenery are spectacular, very well maintained and natural, the backdrop of the mountains all around, the hiking trails, Fin Lough and the Atlantic coast is just amazing. The journey there is just as beautiful as the destination itself, allow yourself plenty of time to get there as you will want to stop and take in the scenery and a few photos too!! Delphi Lodge, thank you and here's hoping I'll get back again.

A professionally run and very welcoming, comfortable, well appointed place to stay! We originally booked for one night but the vibe of the accommodation and staff right from arrival led us to immediately book a second night. The lodge offers a long table dinner with an excellent fixed menu and wine list and breakfast and lunches too if required. The staff could not have be more accomodating. Delphi lodge is not a cheap stay, but we’ll worth the tarif.

Arriving at Delphi is like coming home to the warmest welcome imaginable. The setting is stunning, our room was the epitome of a tasteful country house, the food was delicious but it is the manager and staff who make this place so wonderful. The manager, Michaels', ability to make each guest have the most perfect visit, is astounding. How he included everyone from a three year old to 75 year old was magical to watch. We enjoyed every minute of our visit. Over breakfast we continued the conversations with the guests we met the night before. None wanted to leave, as we walked to our car we just wondered when we could come back.

My husband and I just spent two nights at Delphi Lodge to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This has been one of the nicest holidays I have ever had. The house is not like any other hotel I have visited. We felt as if we were residents in this beautiful country home with its antique furniture and spectacular lake view. The location is stunning but the overall experience was particularly special for a few reasons: firstly the remarkable cuisine served at dinner each evening, seated at the large oak dining table with the other residents. The food is the best I have ever experienced and our compliments must go to the chef! The staff also deserve praise for their exceptional attention and friendliness. This place is an absolute gem. We will be back!

A truly unique place. Michael Wade and the entire Delphi staff will make you feel at home from the moment you step out of your car. The house has a warm and wonderful feeling about it and the staff just add to it. Don't miss dinner at the "Big Table" the food is exceptional and the experience is so unique. This May we stayed 3 days and this was our 3rd visit over a span of 8 years. Every visit gets better so we have never been disappointed. Looking forward to our next visit. Hazel and Terry Conner (USA)
