We chose a sea view room with a balcony which was definitely worth the extra cost. The views were amazing and, yes, the road is busy but the soundproofing for sleeping is very good. Air conditioning was excellent and amenities were all clean and modern. Coffee and tea, kettle etc all provided. Swimming pool was a real bonus and was kept warm in the September heat. The hotel is well located. Short walk to Menton - shopping, restaurants, beaches etc. Menton Garavan station close by for trips along the coast. Lovely staff, kind and helpful. A comfortable hotel we would happily return to.

Lovely mentón this hotel was nice with L’Occitane amenities. Room was great and staff kind . Location is a bit far from main Mentón yet closer to the Basilica of st Michael which the classic Men ton background . Also enjoyed the beach oh this side despite being chilly it was gorgeous and I was a blessed to swim . I truly fell in love with Mentón and would return

Excellent breakfast, nice decor, spacious room with good bedding. However, the bathroom reeked of skunk the entire time. No glass door or curtain in shower, so made a mess each time I showered. Location would be good, but every entrance to the beach is fenced in and closed for construction..

We had such a great stay at this hotel. From the outdide its looks pretty much standard, but inside its a dream! All of the hotel has artwork of Jean Coceau in all the rooms and all across the hotel with a interior design that had the same theme. The pool was lovely and much needed with the heat. The breakfast had a good selection too, although the only thing thst could be improved would be having hot selections without paying extra. Our room over looked the garden which meant we had a wonderful view of the mountains. Overall this was one of the best hotels we have stayed at!

It was perfectly nearby the downtown of Menton and far away enough from the bustling streets. It was across the street from the private beaches and along the boardwalk. The room was clean and very trendy. The bed was stiff but spacious. The black out curtains are motorized and on switches. The AC works very well. Two nights it was very chilly bc we set the temperature too low.

We loved this hotel! We stayed in Menton for four nights and this hotel has it all. Train station was only about a 10 min walk from the hotel which allowed us to easily travel between towns. The hotel helped us reserve beach chairs for the day which was magical. Staff was super friendly and helpful and the view was AMAZING!

This hotel gets a lot of repeat visitors, due to attentive staff, onsite parking and well maintained rooms. Our Junior Suite Mountain View room was on the top floor. Nearly floor to ceiling windows, looking out on gorgeous villas behind the hotel. Flower covered hillsides lead up to wonderful mountain peaks. The view was enchanting. Lots of storage space in room. The "sofa" was very uncomfortable for sitting, but it's really a popup bunk bed. Pool is not heated, still enjoyed a cold swim in April. It's a bit of a walk into the Old Town. Might be too far for kids. Take the quick breakfast in the beautiful bar, lower price and just right to start the day. Aperitifs are a good price in the evenings. In the New Port Garavan (literally across the street, towards the sea, under the promenade) are several places worth visiting. The U Express Supermarket has an amazing selection of food for a smaller market. Clearly caters to an upscale crowd. Au Pied du Port is a marvelous restaurant where the chef grills on wood. Try the homemade pate and lamb. Restaurant Le Galion, an elegant place, joyful staff with a fascinating crowd of regulars. I overheard a guest say, when checking out, to the Front Desk "Another amazing stay, as it always is. Thank you, We will be back in August."
