Golden Milano Hotel Reviews

I stayed one night at Golden Milano Hotel. The room has a balcony and a spacious bathroom with bidet which is very Italian. The hotel location is good close to Susa metro station, with a supermarket Carrefour nearby. There is also a nice coffee shop Pan Milano just around the corner. Front desk staff were very nice. The only minus was a weak wifi signal but that didn't really bother me.

Good hotel room for the price but a little bit difficult to track. We stayed for a day, room was good, bathroom was clean and big, big balcony as well. Only thing weird was that at 10 pm they came to say that we cannot talk loudly in the room. Also the heater only works on certain hours and it can get a bit chilly. They had provided us with big blankets though.

Hotel host/ concierge/ security was very rude on checking out - he kicked us out the room and was not able to wait 10mins. Screamed at us to leave, with our bags not even being packed. We had to go outside and finishing packing out stuff. Even in a 5* hotel they dont do this. The room was dirty, and cold

I liked the hotel very much. I couldn't check in early, but they let me leave my luggage. They upgraded the room category for free. Beautiful balconies in the room. Nearby is the Susa metro station, a supermarket is within walking distance. You can buy additional breakfasts. The menu includes: tea, coffee, muffins, sausage, cheese, eggs, apples, butter, yogurt, cookies, etc. Towels and bed linen are spotless, cleaning is done every day. Shower gel and soap are provided.

Full of racism! Asians must not stay here! This is the hotel with the worst environment and worst service among hundreds of hotels I have stayed in. It is truly the worst hotel in my life! ! Although the hotel is a three-star hotel, it is worse than hotels, youth hostels, etc.! The room was dirty and there were cockroaches; the bathroom had a peculiar smell and mold. In terms of transportation, it's just close to the metro sosa station. But from Milan Central Station, you have to take a car or subway to get there. In terms of service, the Mediterranean male receptionist looked like a member of the Italian Communist Party. When he saw that I was Asian, he arranged for me to live in a room facing the front door, so I often heard the noise of other people coming in and out. I asked him to change rooms, but he stared at me and said he didn't have a room and refused to change it to me. I asked again if there was a solution, and he stood up and shouted at me No solution! I was very helpless, so I had to go back to the room and watch TV to calm down by watching the Olympics. The volume was only turned on 8 degrees. After less than five minutes, he started to He knocked on the door of my room and loudly said that the TV was very noisy because my room was isolated from the reception. I walked out of the room to argue with him and asked him if there was a complaint. He thought for a while and then said yes. I know he He was lying, because singing came from the farthest room like a party, and he ignored it. At this time, I knew he wanted to play with me, so I asked to check out, but he warned me that no refund was possible! Tell me to sleep immediately! (Yes, the waiter actually warned the guest!) I was so scared that I had to go back to the room. When I returned to the room, I found cockroaches on the floor. At that time, I really collapsed! It took a lot of effort to kill it. The *** receptionist knocked on the door again. As soon as I opened the door, he seemed to want to hit me and said he wanted to call the police. I was also afraid of him, so I told him to call the police! I felt that I was being intimidated. Then he made a phone call. I didn’t know who he was calling. During the conversation, I could hear him telling the caller that I was “China.” I knew it if he could say such a racial slur. He didn't call the police. I immediately went back to the room, packed up my luggage, and sat on the sofa in the lobby. I said I was waiting for the police. Even if anything happened, I could loudly seek help from other tenants. When he saw me packing my luggage and sitting on the sofa, he fiercely ordered me to be silent and return to my room quickly. I also asked for a refund again, I really don't want to stay in this hotel anymore! He warned me again, saying that it was impossible to check out, and that all I could do was go back to the room immediately and keep quiet, and nothing would happen. I was really scared at that time. It was already past 11pm, I didn’t know where to stay, and I was afraid that he might do something. So I had no choice but to listen to him and go back to my room to sleep. But in fact, I couldn’t sleep all night. Suffering a big blow. This psychological shadow still exists today, and it is really a stain on my trip to Italy. As a guest, why are you treated and discriminated against like this?

The room is small, the equipment is lacking, the toilet is very interesting

Clean room although there are some details that leave something to be desired. In the room they assigned me I found a double bed, a single bed, with a desk, two chairs and a wardrobe with a mirror. Bathroom without a window with a ventilation system (in my opinion not very effective). At the end of my stay they did not offer me breakfast included. The hotel is located inside an apartment building. They have a small elevator and can fit about two people. It is uncomfortable if you have to carry a 23kg suitcase.

It's really comfortable to stay. It's clean and well-cleaned every morning. Above all, the staff are friendly.
