Radisson Collection Hotel, Yangtze Shanghai

I used to stay here often over 20 years ago, and coming back now, it still feels so familiar. The facilities are very well-maintained, and even though the hotel's name has changed, the service and cleanliness are still top-notch! The hotel's location is excellent; whether for leisure or business, the surrounding area is very convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping. The hotel's breakfast is also good, and perhaps because many guests are international, I absolutely loved the row of coffee machines in the restaurant! 💕 I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai. ❤️

The high-floor rooms offer direct views of the Xinhongqiao Central Park. The green landscape during the day and the city sunset at night provide an absolutely stunning view. The hotel opened in 1991, and only the lobby has been renovated; the guest rooms have not undergone major refurbishment. The standard rooms are only 28 sqm, making the space quite small, and the decor is retro and a bit dated, giving off an 'old-school' vibe. The bathroom fixtures are old, with a shower integrated into the bathtub, and the bathroom itself is cramped. There are no charging outlets by the bedside, and the device ports are outdated.

This hotel is quite well-managed and popular with many international guests. However, the downside is that the room ceilings are a bit low, and the shower is inside the bathtub in the bathroom. I won't be staying here again.

The hotel environment is great, and it's very clean. The lobby is also beautiful. It offers excellent value for money and is definitely worth staying at. The food is quite good too. If you're looking for a nice place to stay, I recommend giving it a try.

The zongzi packaging is so grand and luxurious! The bag itself is actually more useful than the zongzi, haha 😄

The room was good. Everything we needed was there. Breakfast was excellent. Nice view from the window.

Facilities: Very comprehensive. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: Very good. Service: Everyone is from Shanghai, very friendly. Exclusive Executive Lounge Benefits (up to two people during your stay): The service on Sunday was excellent; breakfast was also very rich. I will choose to stay at this hotel again in the future, it feels like a home away from home!

Overall, it's pretty decent, but I wouldn't buy it again. The soundproofing isn't great. There are no power outlets by the bed. The drinks and coffee at the lobby lounge are a bit overpriced.
