Fantastic stay! Excellent room with open-air bath and little garden. Food tasted great, well balanced saltiness and sweetness. Service staff were warm and efficient, taking initiative to provide service for guest's convenience.

Located by the river, it is the oldest hot spring hotel in Kurokawa. It has a family-run hot spring. The outdoor hot spring faces the screen rock and has a good environment. The room was randomly booked. The facilities are relatively old and there is no private bathroom. There is a yard outside the room window. It would be nice if the maple leaves turned red. The breakfast and dinner tasted OK.

Kurokawaso is located on the west side of Kurokawa Hot Spring, close to the stream. The entrance to the hotel is on the national highway and is not on the hot spring street. I don't know how to comment. I can only say that I chose the wrong season to go there because the entire Kurokawa Onsen is in the valley (really deep in the mountains and old forests). The hotel is generally OK. I think the hot springs are very good and the food is also very delicious. However, the room facilities are really old, resulting in a lot of insects in the early summer nights. Two centipedes measuring 15 cm long ran in at night. Because it is a tatami room, I was so scared that I couldn't sleep all night. I was always worried that there would be insects. Halfway from the hotel to the town, two super big 🐍 ran out. Fortunately, I met a villager who helped drive them away. The fright index is 5 stars. It is still recommended to book a room in the main building of the hotel and choose to go in winter. The hotel's hot spring bath is very good. The water quality of Kurokawa is really amazing.

Dinner was served in the room, with many varieties and a good dining experience. The hotel provided thoughtful service.
