We have stayed in Montanejos at least once each year since 2007, using two other hotels. This time, we were attracted by a better price at Xauen and were pleased we tried it: it will be our first choice in future. The rooms, which I guess are recently refurbished, are rather small although well equipped. Standard size double bed. Bathroom also compact but with a great shower. Spacious terrace with great views of the river valley and hills beyond. A very positive feature is the bar with full length windows overlooking the river: friendly service and good drinks prices. We didn't eat in the restaurant, as the menu did not look very exciting, but there are plenty of alternatives within 5 min. walk. We easily found free street parking within less than 100m each time it was needed (it would be more difficult in the summer season or at weekends).

Great, we have gone hiking, of course going to the baths and even more so in the sweltering heat, and at night, walking around the town, with its so nice people, good hospitality and very familiar bars. The hotel would put a fridge in the rooms to be able to cool the water, I miss that

It was the second time that we stayed at the hotel, the quality of the food has lost, especially the very poor breakfast, the cleaning is good, the place is beautiful, I recommend it and the river is phenomenal

El pueblo muy tranquilo y bonito en Diciembre, para disfrutar de las rutas naturales y las aguas termales.
El personal del hotel muy amable, nos solucionaron rápido los imprevistos.
Las habitaciones eran bastante nuevas, con todos los servicios básicos, radiador y aire acondicionado, no hay bidé.
El SPA no tiene grandes cosas pero es suficiente para relaj****. Con la sauna y la piscina ya se disfruta bastante.
El comedor tiene servicio de comida y cena, con menú completo a 14€, buen valor respecto a lo que hay alrededor.
Buenas vistas en el lado del río.

La cena y el desayuno de lo peor que he tomado en años, la calidad penosa. El desayuno mejor no comento, intentar hacer unas tostadas con una mini-tostadora y tantas personas es infumable cola para todo y muy mal atendido. El resto del hotel sin más. No lo recomendaría a nadie. No se de donde se han sacado las tres estrellas.

La comida es HORRIBLE!!! Como se puede hacer todo con tan poca calidad! Estamos mis dos hijos y yo fatal de la tripa con diarrea desde el primer día que estuvimos, hemos estado 3 días, el primer día empezamos, el segundo día no fuimos a las comidas y mejoramos y el tercer día volvimos a ir y otra vez con diarrea desde esa misma noche! Como se puede hacer la pasta mal?? Olía fatal! No sé si el queso, el tomate o que…Que horror!! Una pena porque el entorno es espectacular pero la experiencia en el hotel mala!!

La habitación con terraza visitas al río, estupenda.Falta una nevera, sería perfecto. El servicio de comedor un poco caótico,la comida regular para el precio. La limpieza bien,el trato del personal muy amables. El spa confortable.

Pésima comida, limpieza regular, habitaciones pequeñas y destartaladas, cada mueble de una manera. Cuarto de baño diminuto que casi no te puedes duchar. Lo único bueno el personal de recepción. No volveré, ni lo recomendaré
