We had an absolutely wonderful time staying 2 nights in the Lalique cottage. From the friendly welcome to the easy check out process, we had everything we could need. The experience was so relaxing for us, the heated pool was perfect, and we used the BBQ and kitchen and had no need to leave! Shell even organised a pregnancy massage for me in our cottage, which was divine. The warm croissants delivered each morning were delicious, there was a lot of food options for breakfast included. We would highly recommend Misty View Cottages and hope to be back again some time!

Beautiful place! What an absolute treat couldn’t recommend any higher the service was amazing wonderful place to connect with your loved one! The food in the hampers are so fresh the scenary is gorgeous, and the local shops markets and restaurants are awesome!

What an amazing place. It delivered everything it promised and more!! The cottage was gorgeous and well presented and the Welcome Hamper and Breakfast Hamper's were plentiful and delicious. We came away from our visit relaxed and rejuvenated.

Misty View Cottages in Montville is an absolute treat!! Shell and Tony are great hosts and their cottages are first class! Great scenery, extremely quiet, everything you could hope for is provided in the cottages and it was hard to leave. I have definitely found my go to retreat when needing time away. Thanks again, 2 thumbs up!!!

It is the perfect place to stay for a special occasion. We celebrated our 20th anniversary at Misty View and it was magnificent. The intermittent rain during our stay even enhanced the experience as we could enjoy the fire. The cottage is so cozy and romantic. The way it is configured on the property means it still feels very private and secluded. The only downside is the limited dining options in Montville at night. Had we known we would have taken advantage of the dinner hampers provided. The service provided was warm and friendly by not intrusive. Our weekend was wonderful and we enthusiasically recommend Misty View.

Misty View is pure class from the moment the door opens. Gorgeous view, beautifully decorated and oh so cosy. And it lived up to its name each morning as the mist rolled in across the dam. What an amazing sight that was. Comfy cosy bed, dressing gowns that actually fit real people. Stunning views from the spa bath in the bedroom. From the toiletries to the breakfast every thing was top class. Cottages are set in beautiful bush land and so secluded and yet you are 5 minutes drive from town. My personal favourite as the decanter of complementary Tawny Port!!! I can remember the last time we went anywhere that had anything like that. As you’ve read this you probably realised we loved Misty View and our special celebration holiday was perfection. Thanks Misty View.

What a treat! We booked at Misty View Cottages and everything was just perfect! From the discreet location of each cottage, to the fabulous view, to the oh! so comfortable bed!!, to the amazing breakfast pack and fresh warm croissants each day…..everything was just so special! The new owners took over as Covid struck, but they used that time to update and perfect each cottage. The owners, the cottages, the location… all perfect! Enjoy!!

Another very satisfied and well rested couple after yet another stay here 😃 Love our time away here in the peace and quiet away from our busy lives. The views, little touches, homemade goodies and breakfast hamper along with the daily delivery of warm croissants is such a highlight. Nothing is ever too much trouble for our lovely hosts and as always, we are always welcomed. A fantastic place to enjoy couple time and relax.
