AI Summary
An AI-summarised snapshot of real guest reviews
The property boasts exceptional service, spacious cabins with whirlpools and saunas, a variety of family-friendly activities, and proximity to Lake Kinneret. However, guests feel it is overpriced given the small rooms and basic breakfast.

Ramot Resort never disappoints. Even in the middle of a war when the hotel is filled with Israelis displaced from their homes near the northern border, the service and the beauty are still there. If you can afford it, book one of the chalets. Completely private, each one has a sauna and a hot tub and a deck overlooking the Kinneret. Beautifully furnished, spacious, the chalets are far superior to any hotel room. A fridge and espresso machine, large screen TV, bathrobes and slippers, huge bathroom with power shower...this is luxury. Staff are accommodating and kind. Ramot is a base to explore some of the most beautiful scenery in Israel.

Our experience at the Ramot Resort was delightful. One of our first impressions was that the landscaping as absolutely beautiful. The cabins were huge, and featured a whirlpool and a sauna. The dining hall was staffed with very friendly and attentive workers, and the food was excellent. The dining hall had large windows overlooking the Sea of Galilee, which provided a beautiful backdrop to a wonderful dining experience. This was an incredible place to stay!

The location on the Sea of Galilee (Lake Tiberias) provides stunning scenic views. Our room was comfortable, and exquisitely clean. The breakfast and dinner buffets were extraordinary both in flavor and a wide variety of local and regional foods.

A holiday that lived up to the hype !!. Although there were a few things that could have been improved in my opinion , the short break to Ramot was well worth the drive from our home in the centre (of Israel) . Although one of the lifts/elevators didn't work on the day of our arrival , and the activities board located near the reception area , was ONLY in Hebrew , there were at least welcome drinks and cookies waiting for the many guests that arrived ( take note Dan Carmel ) . Our room was located in the main building (the same one as the dining room ) was was sufficient for our needs ( 4 days 3 nights) .The swimming pool snack bar had a limited menu , but the portion size suited us , as we intended to "indulge" in the much talked about Ramot dining room food . There were activities laid on for the "younger guests " , and there was also a table tennis table that could be used ( see reception for ball and bats ) .The workout room was one of the smallest I can remember seeing ( floor 2 main building) . There were evening activities organised , a campfire sing along , a talented local singer , and a " late " night ( 9p.m) pool " party" on consecutive nights . Friday evening dinner was great !! (I recommend the smoked Entrecote - I went back for more, twice ) . It's a pity that there was only one type of soup available , but I was saving myself for the desserts anyway !!! - my thanks to the hotel management for granting me permission to photograph the food before the dining room officially opened . The " invisibles " ( the staff that cleaned the rooms , dining- room etc ) did a great job - these people are often taken for granted , and an occasional " thank you" brings a smile to their faces . This establishment is largely an " Israeli" "hotel" , and caters for families - so if you are looking for a quiet weekend , Mid - Summer might not be the best time to visit here !!

Great hotel with wonderful service!! We had a great time and we will definitely come again. The rooms were clean, whenever we asked for things we got them quickly. Excellent food and overall a really good and pleasant experience. Highly recommended!

I expected to be wowed by this resort since we were originally booked for a chalet. Somehow, we got two adjoining rooms in the main building. My kids’ room was fine, but ours was visibly dirty (eg, crumbs on the floor, hair in the drain, filth on the bathroom grout). I asked the front desk to make sure it was properly cleaned on our first morning there and was asked , “Why didn’t you tell us about this right after you checked in.” To which I replied, “We left our room 15 minutes after arriving. We didn’t notice these issues until it was after dinner and we had to get our kids to bed.” WHY WAS THAT EVEN ASKED TO ME?! Instead, an apology should’ve been issued immediately. Alas, the room was physically cleaner, but the grout issues remained. It’s just gross to see at a place that calls itself a resort, not a motel. The Israeli breakfast was fine, nothing that wowed us compared to the other hotels we stayed at. Though they had a wonderful fresh-squeezed OJ machine guests could use. The pool was lovely. There’s a soccer goal in it (Why why why?) so balls were often whizzing past our heads from children whose parents didn’t manage their behavior. So, keep that in mind if you’re looking for a couples retreat because that would not be relaxing to me if I didn’t have my kids in tow. Overall, our stay was fine. But I wanted something more than fine when I booked Ramot.

Our overall experience was marred by the extremely rude reception desk service. While the hotel itself is beautiful with amazing views and great pool, the unprofessional behavior and lack of courtesy exhibited by the staff at the front desk left a lasting negative impression. when I had questions or needed assistance during my stay, the reception desk staff appeared irritated and impatient with my inquiries. Simple thing like borrowing table tennis rackets they required to leave an ID as guarantee. Breakfast, while had lots of variety is absolutely a hectic mess. The staff don’t clean the tables, everything is dirty. The line to get an Omelette lasted ten minutes because they have only one stand. Same goes for getting coffee or juice. This is extremely disappointing as they charge 800 $ for night for a family with two kids in a small room. In that price I would expect much better service. To summarize the stay: despite the amazing surroundings, I would not recommend staying here because of the service. Very bad value for money.

We stayed here three nights as part of our tour package in the Galilee region—although we were on treks away all day, the breakfast and dinner buffets were spectacular! Some of our friends enjoyed the pool area. I recommend this resort and would love to go again!

Food is ok Hotel located near kneret so it didnt take so much time to get there Rooms are very small for a family This was what we had in our room… When you want to get to food area you need first go to forth floor for their permision and then take the elevator again with a key you go to fifth floor
