We booked this guesthouse on Trip.com in advance for our self-driving trip to the Taihang Grand Canyon during the Spring Festival. The overall experience was warm and hassle-free. The owner provides butler-style service, proactively calling to confirm our needs before our arrival and even coming to the parking lot to help with our luggage after we got there. The service was thoughtful and attentive. The guesthouse is located on the north side of Linzhou Taihang Grand Canyon, only 5 kilometers from the scenic area, making it very convenient for self-driving. There's a public parking lot about 1 kilometer south that supports EV charging, which is very friendly for self-driving tourists. I stayed in a lake-view king room, which came with a huge scenic balcony offering an expansive view directly facing the beautiful Taihang mountain scenery. The views in the morning and evening were particularly therapeutic. The only minor drawback was that the indoor space was a bit compact, and the bathroom layout was similar to an RV design – fully functional but a bit cramped. The dining experience was a big plus. Breakfast could be delivered directly to the room, with a rich variety of fresh ingredients that tasted simple yet delicious. The guesthouse also offers lunch and dinner, with authentic local flavors and good value for money. What delighted my child the most was a gentle and friendly dog living at the guesthouse, which added a lot of fun to our trip. Overall, it's a cozy guesthouse very suitable for family road trips and getting closer to nature.

The hotel is actually better than the online ones. The typical garden-style hotel has a sense of design. The children are very happy to feed fish and small turtles, and the adults are also very comfortable to drink tea and walk. This time I booked a B&B viewing terrace room. This time, Nantaihang self-driving, staying at Yunshu Mountain Residence, was the biggest surprise of my whole trip. The housekeeper Xiao Sun is enthusiastic and attentive, and the service is extremely thoughtful. Before departure, he also actively communicated and carefully planned the self-driving route. There is no need to bypass the slate rock town, saving a lot of Panshan Road. Assist in reporting the license plate identity and handling the permissions of the scenic spot throughout the whole process, so that I can drive through the Taohua Valley Scenic Area smoothly for three days, and travel all the way without obstacles. It is the most moving and precious experience of this trip. Stay in the canyon duplex room, the view is excellent, facing the canyon cliff, lying on the bed can enjoy the scenery of the cliff. In the morning, the sunrise reflects the cliff, the rock walls are covered with golden light and shadow, and the scenery is quiet and healing. The homestay is clean and livable, the service is sincere and attentive, and it is specially arranged for self-driving tourists. Nantaihang is the first choice for self-driving. I really recommend it!

This stay was a pleasant surprise; the hotel upgraded me to a balcony room free of charge. The view was expansive and the scenery was exceptional, making for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was provided, but the selection was rather limited; it was filling but not particularly varied. Overall, there's room for improvement in cleanliness, which I hope will be addressed in future updates. Overall, the experience was quite good, and the price was reasonable.
