I honestly did not expect such poor service from a 5-star hotel. The reception staff’s attitude, communication, and overall service were close to zero — except for Mr. Mathews, who was the only professional and helpful person there.
The bar service was terrible. The staff behaved as if they were doing guests a favour and showed no interest in providing proper service.
I had booked a Super King Business room, but instead I was given a standard double room and was even charged extra for it. The hotel description promised a mountain view, but unfortunately my view was just a wall and nearby buildings.
The hotel is extremely rigid with its rules. You must check in exactly at the official time. If you arrive even slightly earlier, they charge €10 per hour. I arrived just one hour early and was told I either had to pay or wait until 3 PM.
There were not even basic amenities like slippers in the room.
Overall, after many years of travelling and staying in many hotels, this is by far the worst hotel I have ever booked, and I will definitely never stay here again. The location is also not good, and for the same price you can easily find a much better hotel in the city centre.
