Hotels in Kokusai Dori, Naha

Overall, I don’t think I would stay here again. Maybe it is worth to spend a night or two here. Details below: During my 6D5N trip, I have stayed in different hotels. This hotel had the most expensive parking by far. It was ¥2000 / night. Also the parking was a bit inconvenient since the parking area uses an elevator-system and you need a staff to operate the parking system machine to get your car each time you need to use your car. There were a lot of families with young children during my stay, not the best place if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax. There were also only 2 elevators so sometimes it takes a long time to wait for the elevators due to the crowd. The hotel provides a lot of amenities, including some daily activities from 17:00-18:00, noodles from 20:30-21:30, and free flow drinks from 10:00-22:00 (no free laundry tho). I got to try the traditional outfit dress up session, it was a good experience to quickly try on the Okinawan-style kimono. Just a personal preference, I did find their soaps and skin care products heavily scented, which I wasn’t a fan of.

Fantastic location! It's perfect for a first-time visit to Naha as a transit point. From the airport, you can take the monorail to Makishi Station, and the hotel is just a 160-meter walk through a connected corridor. Below the corridor, there's a Ryukyu lion statue that marks the entrance to Kokusai Dori (International Street). Conveniently, there's both a FamilyMart and a 7-Eleven right downstairs. The breakfast was incredibly varied and definitely offered great value for money. At the check-in counter on the second floor, they offer complimentary DHC sachet samples for guests, including makeup remover and lotion. The Okinawa Prefectural Museum & Art Museum is about 950 meters away, a roughly 10-minute walk. Naminoue Shrine is also very close by. My only gripe was that the beds were too small. I booked a twin room for myself and two children, and we had to push the beds together; otherwise, it felt like we'd fall off any minute. This was a stark contrast to the rooms at the two resort hotels we stayed in afterwards.

Location: The hotel is about a 20-minute taxi ride from Naha Airport, costing around 2000 JPY. It's a 3-5 minute walk to Kokusai Dori. Just outside, to the right, you'll find the popular Nammuru Ramen, and to the left, a famous fried beef cutlet restaurant. Convenience stores are also very close by. Facilities: The room isn't huge, but it's well-equipped and looks relatively new. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. Rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy at night. Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean and tidy. Service: The front desk staff speak good English. The room was cleaned daily, and two bottles of mineral water were provided. Overall, it's a good choice and I would recommend it!

## Pros: **Facilities:** The facilities in the hotel's annex building are very modern and stylish, and everything feels quite new. The bathroom was a good size and featured a walk-in shower. **Hygiene:** Generally clean and tidy, with no unpleasant odors. **Location:** The hotel is located near the prefectural government office, very close to the meeting point for day tours, which was very convenient! There's a 7-Eleven directly downstairs from the annex, and a Lawson next door, making it extremely convenient. **Service:** The staff were friendly and attentive. ## Cons: The only downside was that the air conditioning in my room made a strange rattling noise/vibration. It only subsided when the fan speed was set to level 3, which was a bit annoying.

Excellent Stay at a Great Location! I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is excellent, making it convenient to explore the area. The front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating, ensuring a smooth check-in and providing great recommendations. The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and relaxing environment. One of the highlights was the hot bath, which was a perfect way to unwind after a long day. Overall, a fantastic experience—I would definitely stay here again!

My stay at this Hyatt on our last day in Okinawa was very satisfying. **Location:** It's conveniently located, just a 5-10 minute walk from Kokusai Dori. A taxi from the airport costs approximately 2000 JPY, making it easily accessible. **Arrival Experience & Lobby:** The overall environment was pleasant. Upon arrival, staff promptly greeted us and assisted with our luggage. Check-in was incredibly efficient, taking less than 10 minutes. The lobby also offers comfortable sofas for guests to rest. **Room & Facilities:** The room was a good size, not at all cramped. The bathroom featured a practical wet/dry separation. Our window overlooked the street, but the room was surprisingly quiet. **Cleanliness:** Everything was spotlessly clean. **Service:** The service was excellent, and we were very satisfied.

Great location on Kokusai-dori, located within walking distance from the Prefectural Office monorail station, lots of food and shopping options available within a stone's throw away. Service from staff was impeccable as expected from Japanese service standards, great buffet breakfast which we added-on on our last day before checking out. The room was fine, and were already considered spacious for Japanese standards. Bath and toilet were clean and well-maintained. Our only gripe was that the room furniture was starting to get worn out, and the carpets had quite a few stains. Maybe some deep cleaning would do the job. Overall, a very good stay, and will definitely choose Gracery Naha again at the right price point.

Very helpful receptionists and staff both via online and at front desk even though we received a baby cot by misunderstanding. Acceptable for 2,000 JPY per one room cleaning regarding eco-friendly policy but policy details should be clearly communicated with maids too. We received only towels for two nights without water or cool pads even though we ensured our message with the front lady. However, comparing to their impressive service, the place is worth to revisit.

What I love about the hotel is the ideal location. Just next to the monorail. And there is a supermarket just opposite. You can grab a midnight snack there. There is also a paid parking space for hotel guests. I hooked 2 rooms for 4 nights. One of the rooms wasn’t very clean ie the carpets were stained. But towels and sheets were clean. I’m planning to return to the same hotel on my return leg to Naha.

Decent hotel property in a very convenient location just beside the monorail station as well as the bus terminal which allows for easy exploration. Department store is also around the corner to get supermarket supplies and there is a family mart just beside the hotel.
