GreenTree Inn (Nanjing Yuhuatai Scenic Area, Zhonghuamen Metro Station)

Considering the price in Nanjing, this accommodation offers great value. Overall, I had a very satisfying stay. Given the price, I didn't expect too much from the cleanliness and facilities, but they were perfectly adequate. The location was a highlight; it was very easy to find. It's just a few minutes' walk from Zhonghuamen Metro Station, yet the building isn't directly on a main street and has its own parking lot out front. My single room featured a small window offering a pleasant green outlook. The view from the window was a school right next door, but with no road passing through. Since it was summer vacation, it was incredibly quiet and ideal for relaxation. Right outside the hotel, there are plenty of restaurants offering everything from xiao long bao and duck blood vermicelli to various stir-fries and rice dishes – I found all my daily meals there. There are also convenient small supermarkets and fruit shops nearby, so you can easily pick up any necessities you might need for your trip.

Overall, it was good. Nothing outstanding, but perfectly satisfactory. The pleasant surprise was seeing a new stadium outside the window, though it was closed off and nobody was using it.

The hotel offers convenient, free on-site parking. The rooms are clean and tidy. It's just a few minutes' walk from the subway station (turn left). Right outside the hotel, you'll find plenty of snack bars and restaurants, making dining very convenient. Yuhuatai Memorial Park is less than a kilometer away, easily reachable on foot. I always forget to take pictures of the hotel itself, so please enjoy some photos I took of Yuhuatai instead.

This is my second time staying here. The place is clean, but the facilities are starting to show their age. Unfortunately, the air conditioner vent was broken, and it blew directly on me all night, causing me to catch a cold. On the plus side, it's quite close to the subway station.

The Zhonghuamen Metro Station is incredibly convenient, and the Zhonghuamen Scenic Area is just a short walk away. Although the room is compact, it's spotlessly clean and tidy, making it ideal for tourists who spend their days sightseeing and want a quiet place to sleep at night. Overall, it's a pretty good choice.
