Nanjing Xuanwu District Hotels

Great value for a 5-star hotel! Rooms are spacious and decor is nice, the included buffet breakfast offers a lot of variety and is tasty. The hotel is located right behind the Nanjing Museum, is “close” to the Ming Tombs, and is close to the Ming Koo Kung subway station which provides easy access to many sights in Nanjing. There is even a street food bazaar right next door! The only downside of this hotel is that it does not offer a free laundry room.

Hotel spot clean and service good. Only set back as follow 1. Booking through Trip.com needs credit payment in advance as usual.  2. During check need to pay in advance towards the hotel. Later Trip.com will reimburse back my credit card bank. Which makes in convenience for me, my credit card bank and trip.com.  3. Hotel does not trust customer like us. Where we need to place RMB 200 holding during stay. I don’t understand why they need RMB 200 holding during stay. What happens customer forget to collect their RMB 200. Will the hotel send back to customer if deposit was paid in cash.  That is my setback. This was our first time where hotel neeeeeds to collect payment directly from customer. My God Oh.  Warmth regards

Zhongshan Hotel & Jiangsu Conference Center is an established government-run hotel with an excellent location. It's within walking distance of both the Presidential Palace and Nanjing Museum. The hotel grounds also house historical attractions like the Lishizhe (勵志社) building, which guests can visit. Additionally, it's a convenient 15-minute walk to the metro station, making it easy to travel to various attractions across Nanjing. The in-room facilities are a bit dated, showing clear signs of age, but they are perfectly functional. Service was decent, with staff attentive to guests' needs and making an effort to accommodate them. The room was well-equipped with fire safety amenities, including a smoke mask and an emergency flashlight. I was particularly impressed with the room's cleanliness. When I wiped down the desk with a tissue, there was no noticeable dust or grime, indicating that the cleaning staff takes their work seriously. The hotel breakfast is a buffet, quite simple but sufficient. The soundproofing in the room was a bit poor. At night, I kept hearing a 'thump' sound, seemingly from the floor above – I couldn't tell if it was someone closing a door loudly or dropping something heavy. These sudden 'thuds' would often startle me awake, and I was always left wondering what the noise was. Overall, I was satisfied and had a comfortable stay! Recommended!

I could hear my (very loud) neighbors via ventilation system placed in the bathroom. Also, my room did not have any window, so from time to time I could feel like in a bunker.  Apart from what I mentioned above, everything was good - location, service, comfy bed, etc.

The value for money here is absolutely incredible! We were welcomed with fresh fruits upon check-in. To find such a clean and spacious room at this price point was a pleasant surprise. The front desk staff were excellent – very attentive and thoughtful, always quick to resolve any issues and happy to help with anything. A special shoutout to the front desk lady; she was not only pretty but also spoke softly, was warm, patient, and even prepared fruits and coffee for us, and gave fantastic recommendations for local restaurants. Upon check-out, they even surprised me with local specialties like salted duck, pre-washed fruits, and a bookmark. I'm truly grateful for such wonderful service!

I was extremely satisfied with my stay this time. The hotel's proximity to a subway station made getting around incredibly convenient. Being newly renovated, the hotel was impeccably clean. The smart controls throughout the room were intuitive and easy to operate, making adjusting the lighting and curtains a breeze. The layout was well-designed; the sleeping and sofa areas were effectively separated from the living space, giving it the feel of a mini-suite. Thoughtful details were evident everywhere, such as the retractable clothesline, which conveniently solved any drying needs. Truly considerate! The room facilities were new and practical, even boasting a Dyson hairdryer. The charming room decor added a lovely, cozy touch. The air conditioning worked perfectly, providing instant comfort upon entering the room, even on a scorching hot day. The expansive view from the window offered a pleasant panorama. Overall, it offered excellent value for money and was a truly pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The family room is quite big, and it is located next to the Jiulongshan subway station. It is surrounded by military areas and is very safe. The restaurant is on the underground floor. There are not many types of food, but you can eat and drink enough. It is within walking distance of Jiming Temple and Xuanwu Lake.

My stay at Qingmu Platinum Hotel was absolutely perfect! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the hotel's upscale vibe was palpable. The warm yellow lighting and exquisite decorative accents created an incredibly inviting atmosphere. The room itself was an even greater surprise; it was spacious and brightly lit. The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, and the mattress had just the right firmness, guaranteeing a perfect night's sleep. The bathroom featured a thoughtful wet-dry separation, and the toiletries were a high-quality, aromatic range. Every detail reflected their dedication to guest comfort. The front desk staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and helpful. The breakfast selection was extensive and varied, and the hotel's proximity to Zhongshan Scenic Area was a huge plus. It's an excellent choice for both business travelers and tourists alike. I will definitely be back!

Stayed for the second time, the overall feeling is not bad! Very comfortable, complete facilities and clean, comfortable sofa, good service attitude, especially the cleaning service staff is very good and very warm 👍. There is also a little bit, just entered the room, the bathroom has a taste, it may be the sewer anti-flavor. The basin faucet is too close to the basin. As shown in the picture, the water is easy to splash out, and it is not convenient for the electric kettle to get water and burn 😂 I have a chance to come back next time!

The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The furniture would benefit from a renovation. The restaurant is very small and in both of our stays we had to wait to find a table to eat our breakfast. The hotel is also far from the main tourist attractions which can be possitive if you want to relax after a busy day visiting Nanjing.
