No air con in 30 degree heat, no hot water, the tap for the hot tub in the room had barely any water coming from it and even that was freezing cold, strange white stuff came out the jets too, the room was absolutely filthy with stains all over the walls, horrible musky smell hit you directly when you walked into the property, there’s a questionable ‘breakfast bar’ which isn’t attached to the wall - when looking behind its completely open so mosquitos etc can just fly straight in, tv didn’t work, also the last guests toilet roll was still sitting in the dispenser as it was half used. Reception is no where near the property, and arriving at night this isn’t ideal, the breakfast is also in a cafe which we didn’t bother to check out. When complaining to the property about these concerns, they came the next day whilst we were out and apparently fixed the air con which they didn’t, said the hot water was a ‘weather/heat problem’ weird? and stuck a bottle of white wine in the fridge as if this would suffice. On the morning of check out - which is 11am we were woken at 10am with the doorbell going off multiple times, when answered we were told that check out was 11am, yes thank you very much we can read. Found this very very rude. Unfortunately nothing booking.con could do about this which i find strange was told to contact the property direct and when I did they ignored me, why would they respond if they are getting away with this? AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
