Room value for money is OK. But the key point is that the attitude of the reception is not very friendly, and there must be no enthusiasm. The most common thing is to finish the check-out formalities. A Chinese friend of mine who has lived in Germany for decades was also treated coldly by her. The friend couldn't help but politely "sarcasm" back, and the other party was stunned and smiled. I obviously felt that I was not welcomed, and the experience was very bad.

Very clean room, but very noisy. You can hear all the neighbors and if someone walks through the hallway at night you are guaranteed to be awake! No possibility to buy drinks. The way from the train station on foot is neither properly lit nor signposted.

Value for money was okay. I could lie down in the armchair, I thought it was good. Which was also useful, however, since the screen was hanging a little too high. From the bed then fine. I thought the free 1 bottle of water a day was great. I haven't seen it anywhere. The breakfast consisted of delicious products.

First the positive: For the price there was more than I expected. The hotel, which is in a quiet location and I can only speak for the weekend, appears to be quite new to me. Everything was in very good condition. I didn't see any signs of wear. However, for the price you can't expect any miracles. There was no air conditioning, but I didn't find that a problem despite the warm weather. The room was big enough and the small bathroom was more than enough for one person. Unfortunately there were also two negative points about the service: 1) The reception is not staffed on weekends. My information was that the reception is staffed until 6 p.m. on Fridays. It wasn't entirely certain that I would be able to be there by then, so I asked via email via ***********'s website that the hotel please give me a code for a key safe. I found out from other reviews that something like this exists. I didn't get a reply to this email. I made it well before 6 p.m. So that wasn't a problem. 2) At check-in I was told that I had booked a single room even though I had booked a double room. And I couldn't get one because everyone was fully booked. Unfortunately, I didn't have my booking documents at hand when I checked in and when I did have them at hand, the reception was no longer staffed. In any case, I found the behavior to be quite strong. You should be careful there.

Wir waren an einem Wochenende im vicinity und es gab weit und breit absolut nichts. Keine Rezeption, kein Geschäft, kein Restaurant, nicht mal ein Getränkeautomat. Frühstück ab 8 Uhr, ca. 400 m zu Fuß entfernt. Das Hotel ist sehr einfach, Containerbauten, innen mit Spanplatten verkleidet. Es gibt sicherlich günstigere Alternativen, wenn man nicht unbedingt direkt auf dem Campus übernachten möchte.

Dies‘ ist nur bedingt korrekt: Das Restaurant „Culinaria“ (etwa 400m entfernt), welches sich auf dem Campusgelände befindet, bietet täglich ein einfaches Frühstücksbuffet an. Lt. Aussage des Hotels wird montags-freitags auch ein Mittagessen offeriert; Abendessen nur bei größeren Tagungen. Das Personal ist äußerst zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit • angenehmes, helles & sauberes Zimmer mit TV, Telefon, WLAN; ausreichend Steckdosen • Dusche mit „anhänglichem“ Duschvorhang • Toll: ausführliche Infomappe in Deutsch und Englisch, Fahrradverleih (einen Tag vorher anmelden), Infos über Wanderwege, eine Flasche kostenloses Wasser auf dem Zimmer • Gastronomie/Imbiss 3-5km entfernt
