LIC Hotel

The hotel service was very thoughtful. After we checked out, we realized we'd left something in the room. We went back to the front desk, and they quickly found it for us! The room was small but clean. The hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, or slippers, so you need to bring your own. Although the breakfast selection wasn't huge, everything was tasty. They also offer hot tea and coffee throughout the day; I filled my thermos with hot water every morning before heading out. There's an ice machine in the hallway. The rooftop terrace offers a fantastic view of the Manhattan skyline at night.

This hotel has a good location, just a few subway stops from Manhattan. Plus, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset view from the balcony. However, the breakfast is quite basic, and the prices are much higher during holidays. We paid over 2000 yuan, which was incredibly expensive when we booked.

This ground floor room had zero soundproofing in the bathroom. The flushing upstairs made a huge noise, and the drain pipes had no sound insulation whatsoever. Plus, the window faced the car park, and the air conditioning made strange noises at night!

This hotel offers great value for money and comes highly recommended. The rooms are a bit small but very clean and tidy. It's incredibly convenient, less than 100 meters from the E line subway station. While the breakfast isn't lavish, it's perfectly adequate. Plus, there's a 24-hour hot water dispenser in the lobby.

Clean hotel, very close to the subway. Convenient if you're arriving from LaGuardia.
