The room has complete supplies, a strong sense of technology, the service is very warm and thoughtful, and the hotel location is great! The disadvantage is that the room area is a bit small

Incredible boutique hotel with all the BEST room amenities, for example heated toilet seat. Also, the best hotel for theatre tickets due to being close to all venues

We go to NY frequently and have stayed at many good hotels. We would not go back to the Chatwal. The checkin process was terrible because there systems were down. After we finally checkin in, our key card stopped working. The lobby is very small and outdated
One drink at the bar was $37, even high by NY's standards. The restaurant is very dark and outdated. The room itself was clean.

Great hotel!! Loved the property itself and the staff was exceptional.
I would have given it a 5 star but they advertise themselves as family friendly, but they really aren't. The pool was very, very small and only opened from 10am to 7pm, which isn't very family friendly. And the room service menu didn't have any options for kids. The rooms were gorgeous, but they also need to get the heat sorted out. Our AC kept coming on and it was December. Definitely would go back with my wife though, probably not with the kids.

Enjoyed staff and service. I think the TV needs to be modernized for smart applications. The way people interact with TV is very different thannit used to be.
