Very old school ryokan run by very friendly who has been working there for many years. Your name will be displayed on the board next to the entrance of the ryokan to show that they were currently welcoming these guests staying at the ryokan! We stayed there for 2 nights with free parking and we didn’t have to drive anywhere until we checked out as the ryokan is within walking distance to the 3 major world heritage listed shrines including The Toshogu Palace.
Avoid room 312 or 313 (which we stayed) which are the smallest rooms. Those rooms in the middle parts are bigger and more comfortable. Do ask for any room facing the back of the ryokan and avoid those facing the front where you only see car parks with coaches coming in the morning bringing tourists to the shrines.
The onsite Onsen for ryokan guests, breakfasts and dinners are the highlights. You’d love the traditional Japanese meals served there and you won’t be hungry.
Would I come back to this ryokan again? Yes definitely due to its location and friendly staff.

The service staff are very warm and friendly.
The room will be replaced with new daily necessities every day.

看到日光東照宮線路的公交車有一站就是旅館名，就預訂了，早晚飯豐盛又好吃，大浴場露天浴池和桑拿也很舒服，房間雖然稍稍舊了些，但是每天步入時暖氣都讓人熱乎乎的，還有個隨時可以喝到熱茶的熱水壺。工作人員很貼心，會一些簡單英文溝通，比如飯後需要鋪床可以撥打電話講，早飯引導座位和食材講解等等，送完飯的爺爺奶奶也很友善。旅館的接站和其他日式旅館一樣需要提前預約，早上分9.05和10.05出發，可送到東武日光-JR日光站，需要提前跟前台預約，是一次温馨可愛的日式温泉旅館經歷。

The hotel is located on the premises of Nikko Toshogu Shrine, is quiet, and is close to visiting Toshogu Shrine, so the location is very good. When I asked for a pick-up service from Tobu Nikko Station to the hotel, they kindly accommodated me.
Overall, the staff were polite and pleasant.
I requested a room with a Western-style bed, but although the room was neat and clean, it was smaller than I expected, and the view was not good because there was a parking space next to the window.
I thought it would have been better if I had requested a Japanese-style room.
If I had to ask, it would have been better if the room was a little larger and there was a sofa separate from the bed instead of sitting on the bed and relaxing. Dinner was served in the room, and there was a table and two chairs for eating, which was convenient. The food was good both in quantity and quality.
