We stayed in a traditional Japanese room and slept on futons, which was a great experience.
There was some mix-up during check-in which was luckily resolved quickly.
We had both breakfast and dinner included, and the food was awesome!
Location is good, we could walk to Jigokudani which was not too far away.

All was good except for my dinner part. When I arriving the dining hall for the buffet dinner, there was already not much people left at the buffet line. So without knowing that the buffet line runs in a clockwise direction. I was being stared at by one of the chef who was so rude to sush me off just because I did not follow the sequence of the buffet line. And even after I apologized and left, he just kept staring. They really need to upgrade their training for their service staffs.

The buffet with all you can eat fresh crabs from local markets was absolutely amazing! Food quality and taste and variety were all impressive. The onsen was nice too. The tatami was very comfortable and room was nice renovated. We ate and slept well, and felt fully recharged after the stay. Will definitely come again next time!

upon arriving we dropped off our bags, a trolley was provided which we used bringing our luggage all the way to the room,
check-in was quick and efficient and the room warm and cosy, couldn't find the temperature controller but found the fan speed, low, medium and high, room was cool, perfect,
yukatas were provided for use within the hotel, dinning hall and onsen, freshly laundered,
food was excellent, buffet style dinner and breakfast, yummy, lots of carparking

Stay is good! We had to check in late but still they're there to wait for us. Although their staff know limited English, they're trying to use translate machine to explain go us. Breakfast is real good! Didn't get to try their public onsen due to schedule issue. However their private onsen that cost 4400 yen is worth every penny!

登別性價比很高的酒店，風呂比第一龍本館好～服務就不用太計較了，是比較自助式的服務～前台能幫預約出租車，非常感謝～走的時候大雨幸虧提前預約～水每天2瓶，不夠自購～早晚是自助餐，很豐富，但連續吃兩天的話可能會有點膩。總體算OK，算經濟實惠

convenient location to 地獄谷 and next the 温泉街. Spacious spa with different spa water: sulphur, sea salt and iron to choose and enjoy. Very nice dinner buffet!

We had a lovely onsen trip! The hotel provides a good variety of hot springs, each with its own charm. Highly recommended for those who want to relax and enjoy Noboribetsu’s famous hot springs.
