Sonesta ES Suites Anaheim Resort Area

Close to Disney ! Big rooms and big kitchen the only downside is it’s a little bit rundown but overall good location

Sonesta was about a 6 mins drive to Disneyland. Breakfast offered was very convenient. Room was clean. Overall a good stay!

Our fridge in our suite was completely turned off and would run on when we arrived. Went to front desk, waited almost an hour for repair to show up. We only had one spoon and one glass in our kitchen. No paper towels and no extra trash bags. No housekeeping during your stay….NONE! If you need towels and toilet paper, you have to go to front desk to ask for it and then they will “eventually” get it sent your room. Dishwasher leaked water all over floor. $25 per day for parking. Room rate is pretty expensive for a hotel and really needs some updating. Ceiling was leaking all over floor in reception area pretty much our whole stay! The free breakfast was pretty good. They did have quite a few options!

Room was dirty with what I am hoping was chocolate all over the walls. Major leak in main lobby. Bathroom was falling apart.

In the area on business I enjoyed my stay, particularly the friendly, helpful, and responsive staff. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. The suite was roomy, and being able to crack open the windows and enjoy fresh air was really nice. I even enjoyed soaking in the small tub. The free breakfast buffet was good, especially the coffee. Downsides were no decaf urn, not enough milk, and a faulty juice dispenser. The mini poppy seed muffins were the best variation. Only other negative was the leaks that popped up in the lobby area ceiling, although the weather was fine. Hope to return.

First "greeted" by cold, rude staff who were EXTREMELY nice to the person in front of me. Her name was Tatianna, i believe. I was very nice to her the entire time since i work in customer service. I hoped i could win her over with kindness. Nope, didnt work. Only when she saw that i had a disabled lic plate was she nice at all. The AC stopped working completely after the first night. There was an ongoing leak in the lobby. The furniture was damaged in the room. Dishwasher had a leak in the room. TVs were all very dim. Other guests were pernitted to bring electric scooters into their rooms, wear no shoes in the lobby/dinning area, and leave heaps of garbage in the hallways. Our room was right next to the AC machine for the entire building which meant that we heard it run all the time. That part wasnt terrible because we have fans at home. So we tune out that white noise pretty easy. It is just everything else on top of this. Toilet in the room had a very weak flush. We have stayed a few times since i come to LA for work. The two previous times were good. We enjoy the breakfast and it was not this bad when we stayed before at all. I dont see why we would continue to stay here with the horrible woman who worked the counter when we arrived combined with the gross accomodations. The only saving grace experience was the woman who helped me buy some drinks from their convience store and checked me out of this place. Sonesta ES do better.

It was a great place to stay and the continental breakfast was just another positive they added at this hotel.

Our three day stay would’ve been more pleasant except for the following: 1) upon check-in, we were told that the rooms were cleaned every other day when we requested our room to be cleaned after the second night we were told that rooms are only cleaned after five or six nights 2)the kitchen was not adequately stocked we didn’t have enough utensils for eating utensils and glassware to drink out 3) there was no sauce pan or skillet in the kitchen and I when I called the front desk to request a pot I was first told it wasn’t going happen, then when I brought down the steamer, which was the only cooking utensil then they were willing to give us pots 4) there’s no fan in the bathroom which turns the bathroom into a sauna every time anyone wants to shower 5) the breakfast eggs and potatoes were cold and watery also the bagels were hard and the yogurt was served in an open platter and usually the hotels will have yogurts in individual cups, but there wasn’t sufficient utensils for some of the food when you needed to serve yourself.

Carpet is old appliance is old and updated furniture of an. I'll date it. You can tell this. Hotel is old and needs new furnishing remodely
