Room was clean, beds were very comfortable. Hotel was under construction for new breakfast bar, sure breakfast will be better once completed. We also had expensive equipment outside and nothing was messed with or stolen.

This hotel is billed as "pet friendly," but they should be described as "pet tolerant." They have only four rooms in which an animal is permitted and, when I walked through the lobby with my leashed bichon frise/shiz-tzu mix the front desk clerk asked suspiciously if I had told the clerk that checked us in that we had a dog. (We had.) We had an okay stay--one night to break up a long drive. Nothing charming or surprisingly pleasant about this hotel. Servicable.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. However, I would say that the carpets need cleaning or replacing, and the air conditioner filters need changing. It was kind of musty in our room. Other than that, all was good.

Nice hotel. My only complaint is that you have to go through heavy doors to reach the elevator. It was tricky getting luggage through this narrow opening.

Unfortunately, when we arrived at 11pm there was no one working at the desk and other customers were there with no way to check in. After contacting the police and corporate, they were able to find someone to check us in.
I still got a call at 11:05 about checking out on time. No kidding we overslept! I was already completely exhausted and didn't get into my room until corporate figured it out. No offer of compensation or even a sorry.
