Hotel Resol Trinity Osaka

This hotel is strategically located near to train station which is Kitahama station and Yodoyabashi station. However, the hotel is not located at the tourist spot so the area is quiet at night. We booked a double room which the room is not spacious, however it still fit 1 medium luggage & 2 backpacks. The bed is comfortable & come with 4 pillows. However, the pillow could be too soft for old people. The hotel lobby has variety of amenities for guest used such as toothbrush, comb, bath powder, shower cap etc. During winter, hand warmer is provided for guest as well. Overall, we satisfied with the stay here.

This is my second time staying in this hotel. This hotel is one of my favourites. The vibes, the room, the atmosphere - I love everything about it. The room is a good size and includes a bath/shower. Bed is comfortable and the room has a different range of lighting settings. The hotel provides a good range of toiletries you can use. The onsen is clean and relaxing. The hotel provide additional water, coffee/tea and towels each day of your stay. The breakfast is a good range buffet style.

The hotel was implementing an eco-friendly approach. Our room didn't clean up the room every day. But, new bath towels, bottled water, and tea/coffee bags were provided every day. You could also request to make up your room. The amenities were provided near the lift entrance, and you could take as needed. They also provided skin care, such as face oil cleaner, face wash, face lotion, and face cream. Amazing! The cleanliness was a top-notch. The room was pretty small. It was a short walk from Yodoyabashi station.

I had a good experience at this hotel and I would stay there again. You are not in the centre of the action here, but personally I prefer that. The area is very quiet but still lots of convenience stores and restaurants around. I arrived on a Sunday and heard the receptionist telling a couple that a lot of the restaurants are closed over the weekend, as they are mostly catering to office workers. I found this to be the case and struggled to find somewhere to eat when I went looking for dinner on Sunday. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from 2 subway stations, so it’s easy to get around. I also walked to the main shopping area a couple of times, and back from Osaka Castle - all very walkable weather permitting. It’s not a 5 minute stroll (more like 30 mins) but as long as the weather is good it’s a pleasant and interesting walk. My one not quite gripe, but suggestion to the hotel is bigger bins in the room! I understand and have no problems with the eco-policy where rooms are not cleaned unless requested, but I was filling up my bin everyday which made me want it cleaned daily. I saw someone leave their bin outside the room one day, so I also started doing this towards the end of my trip and the cleaner did empty it for me. The hotel provided a lot of amenities - having a station for them seems to be the done thing in Japan, at least in my experience. I particularly enjoyed the bath salts - helped me relax after long days with lots of walking.

Really great hotel, staff where super welcoming and friendly. The room was big for Japan and the amenities were amazing. We’d definitely recommend doing the breakfast it was great value for money and they had a vary good variety.
