My wife and I stayed at Sky Sleeping for a few nights around New Year's 2023. The location is good, everything is within walking distance. It is more like a B&B than a hotel. There is no onsite personnel for check-in or a front desk like you would expect at a hotel, and check-in was not as smooth as we expected. Palermo is a loud city (extra loud for New Year's). The rooms had sound proof doors to the balcony which was very helpful, but even so there is still quite a bit of noise from traffic and car horns. If noise is an issue for you, you might not want to stay in Palermo... Once inside there is a long hallway similar to a hotel with several guest rooms. The walls are thin and you can hear people coming and going. We rented a car and visited several locations in Sicily. That worked out well for us, but if you are not confident in your ability to drive a standard transmission vehicle on narrow roads at high speeds in chaotic conditions - don't rent a car! Driving in Palermo is not for everyone. There is free parking on the street but it is hard to find an open spot. There is also a paid parking very close by (cash only). Overall we enjoyed our time in Palermo.

Camera dignitosa ( salvo il terrazzino sempre sporchissimo) ma il resto non mantiene le promesse. La terrazza su cui verrebbe servita la colazione a base di delizie locali non esiste, o meglio c'è , ma è in condizioni talmente disastrose da essere inagibile. Dunque, per la colazione devi andare in un baretto della zona (cappuccino+ cornetto e basta!) che la domenica è pure chiuso. Inoltre, gli articoli da toletta che proponeva erano confezioni giganti già aperte, e in epoca COVID vi lascio immaginare quanto fossero inadeguate La posizione non è male, ma davvero il BB non vale i soldi che chiede. Non lo consiglio!
