We had a quick o we night stay. The room was very good condition and comfortable. We didn’t ask for it but was asked if the handicap room was okay (I’m not handicapped) and I agreed. So the room was very spacious. I meant to report a drain issue in the tub (Room 217). The water drained very slowly and backed up in the tub while showering. That is the only reason you missed a 5-Star! The property is very nice and we frequent the JAX area, so we will stay there again!

The property was in a very convenient location for me. Marsh Landing has gotten busier with traffic over the years so it sometimes took a few minutes to be able to pull out of the parking lot. But I got used to that. Housekeeping cleans the rooms every other day, but they keep you well stocked with towels, toilet paper, etc., so this was no issue. I actually liked it because on off days I didn’t have to think about when housekeeping would be coming in. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. I was staying for a week and Kyra made sure that I had everything I needed. It is an older facility but they keep it very clean. Breakfast has a good assortment of choices. I’ve stayed here multiple times over the years and do recommend it.

Stay was about average for a Hampton Inn. The only issue was shower. It literally poured a waterfall of water onto the floor from the shower door. When I told the front desk the looked at me like I was crazy because the rooms had curtains. Not sure why my room had a shower door, but it was near impossible to take a shower because all the towels had to be in the floor to soak up the water. I realized the problem was the shower head pointing at the shower door and the threshold plate at the door being angles outward instead of inward. Nothing I could do to stop it. Outside of that, location was extremely convenient for us and the breakfast was great. Beds were comfy, A/C was cold and room was clean. Just the messed up shower situation.

Horrible experience. Got two queen beds instead of a King. Refrigerator didn’t work, in fact the knobs were missing. Beds squeaked every time we moved and pillows were not very good. Told the desk and they just came up with excuses. Will not stay here again. On a positive….the breakfast was great!!
