Paris Hostels

"Modern hostel, good location, very friendly and helpful staff! Beds are comfortable and curtains are important. Upon arrival, the room was quite clean. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be a particularly social hostel; there's little interaction with other travelers, hardly any greetings or conversations... Of course, this isn't directly due to the hostel itself, but a better-equipped common area would certainly help people socialize. There's only a ”living room” with a microwave, no kitchen, not even a kettle or refrigerator! There are no shelves or hooks in the room for things like jackets or wet towels. The toilets and showers were unfortunately not clean, but this was mainly due to the other travelers, who left the shared areas very dirty and otherwise behaved rather inconsiderately. The two sinks are very small/narrow, so everything quickly splashes around. Proper ventilation in the bathroom would certainly help. The odor was sometimes intense! If the toilet and shower (one for each 8 people in the room) are occupied for an extended period, you have to go down to the basement, where the bathrooms weren't particularly clean either. The café in the reception area is nice and good, but also rather expensive for a hostel. You can get better breakfast or coffee at one of the nearby cafés for the same price. Oat milk costs extra (like everywhere else, which I still find generally outrageous). However, as I said, the staff was always very friendly and helpful :) I would probably stay there again, but only due to a lack of alternatives in a similar price range. Another positive point is the 24-hour reception!"

"A great stay, it is ideally located, close to the main attractions and public transport, which makes getting around easy. The staff is very welcoming, always smiling and available to meet the needs of customers. The bedding is comfortable, and the breakfast varied. A real pleasure to stay here."

"I stayed at Auberge de Jeunesse HI Paris le d'Artagnan for 6 nights. The location was excellent , very convenient for getting around Paris! The hostel was clean and breakfast was included every morning, which was a nice bonus. However, my bed was never changed during the entire stay, which was a bit disappointing. Service and amenities were average, but overall it’s a decent option for budget travelers who value location and daily breakfast."

"Stayed in a quad room with our two teenagers. Superb view of Sacre Coeur from our compact room with comfy beds. clean and quiet, Just what was needed after long days sight seeing. Metro station just outside The receptionist's we're all very helpful and friendly. Luggage was left securely on our first and last days without any issues. Walking distance to Montmartre and about 30 mins metro to all the main sites. Very convenient. Would recommend!"

"Free luggage storage for guests. Dining area with microwave, fridge and stove. Clean bathroom. Bus stop almost right outside the place. I’d definitely stay with this place if I’m to come to Paris again. But staircase was spiral with tight steps, so do bear in mind if you’re with heavy huge suitcase. One of the staffs were extremely rude. Not only pulled a long impatient face all the time, he literally shouted at me for opening my suitcase in the common area."

"Basic hotel. Breakfast was so simple and basic. If you want to pay… I don’t know actually. Room was clean and soundproof good."

"Spiral stairs, no elevator. Room for 4 a little too narrow for people with bulky luggage. Plus, bathroom adjoining the bedroom, well lit, clean with a large window."

"My room is not big, but it has 4 3-layer bunk beds. If 12 men live in it, there will be snoring and shoe smell. There is not much space on the top of the bed, so it will be a bit difficult to sit up. If you are just staying for one night, you can make do with it."

"Классный отель! Удобно расположен. Приветливый персонал. У меня был номер на одного с душем, туалет на этаже. Все устроило. Завтрак скромный, но есть холодильник, можно разнообразить завтрак, кого не устраивает. Рядом много продуктовых магазинов на любой вкус и кошелек. Кровать удобная, да, пододеяльника, мыла, полотенца не было, но была к этому готова, поэтому ничего не смутило. Не знаю убирался ли номер, в первый день только мусор исчез из ведра, потом ничего не менялось. Под окном кафешки - в выходные шумновато, но когда весь день гуляешь по Парижу, ничего не мешает уснуть. Контингент в основном молодежь, но встречались и пожилые. Лифт работал, в отеле никто не шумел, туалет чистый на этаже на 4 комнаты, проблем никаких не было. В общем рекомендую!"
