The original palace hotel just steps from the Place Vedôme, the Louvre and Tuileries Garden, Le Meurice is the epitome of quiet elegance. So much more than a luxury hotel, this is a gallery, an adventure, a living work of art, where the world’s artists and thinkers have found their inspiration. Whether enjoying Michelin-starred dining, indulging in the famous Tea Time or unwinding in the newly-restored suites, this is where history and the contemporary combine with spirited panache, for a Parisian hotel experience like no other. At Le Meurice every room and suite celebrates the height of French elegance with a distinctive contemporary twist. This includes newly-restored rooms and suites overlooking the city landmarks, marking a new chapter in the hotel's illustrious history. Each of the seven floors has a distinct style, with 121 beautiful rooms inspired by a modern-day Versailles. The true spirit of a French 'home sweet home'. There are 39 suites and Junior Suites, each a statement of spectacular Parisian style, including two Presidential Apartments with high ceilings and sumptuous furnishings. True to her name, the Belle Etoile Penthouse suite is the hotel restored rooftop suite. Breathtaking in every way, from her design to the incredible 300m2/3,229ft2 terrace with a unique 360° view, from where all of Paris is yours. This seventh-floor suite is full of sophistication and the singular Parisian light. For luxurious pampering, our guests can discover a captivating world of Swiss beauty, featuring the only Valmont spa in Paris. La Maison Valmont pour Le Meurice encompasses both an elegant boutique and Le Spa upstairs, an exclusive sanctum where natural ingredients and science blend to achieve visible anti-ageing results. The Michelin-starred Restaurant le Meurice Alain Ducasse is one of the most beautiful rooms in Paris. Decorated in 18th century style grandeur it showcases Ducasse’s exceptional dedication to the subtlety and purity of flavours, and his distinctive take on French haute cuisine. The Chef’s Table is Alain Ducasse’s private dining room where a small group of two to eight guests can see the brigade of chefs go about their work. Located in the heart of the kitchens of the Michelin-starred Restaurant le Meurice Alain Ducasse, menus can be customised to suit personal tastes. At Restaurant Le Dalí, enjoy a lively celebration of local, seasonal French cuisine. The chefs have a farm-to-fork philosophy, which means the food circuit is short and every ingredient is nurtured with care. La Pâtisserie du Meurice par Cédric Grolet, our pastry boutique, is dedicated to the wonderful cakes of the hotel's talented pastry chef. Here you’ll discover the simple pleasures of freshly-baked pastries, alongside innovative creations such as the legendary ‘trompe-l’oeil’ sculpted fruit. Finally, Bar 228 has become the place to be for discerning Parisians. Offering a cosy atmosphere, in a warm and sophisticated environment, the bar is an elegant place to unwind and enjoy a signature cocktail. Show More

The room is neither too big nor too small, and the TV uses B&O, so there is no need to worry about other things such as lighting control, decoration and furniture, etc. The most important thing is that the front desk, restaurant, and floor waiters are all very enthusiastic and professional.

Absolutely a 5 star hotel with all of the amenties you might excepect. I arrived by Eurorail @ the GareduNord Staion & was colldected by a top notch driver named Andrei Lega with whom I could not have had better guide assistance with. I arrived on one of the 4 fashion days in Paris & models in hautre couture gowns were everywhere with photographers sawrming all around them. One of my main reasons for going to Paris was to see the Garnierpera House built by Garnier & was able to get a ticket for a group tour thanks to Marko @ the Concierge desk & was able to check in within 20 minutes even though mist hotels don't allow for an early check in & received a beautiful room with a sunny view away from traffic noise. 5 stars overall for everyone who works here from bellman to manager.

We stayed for one night and company booked it for us during Paris Fashion Week so hotel was busy. We had three attempts to check in and eventually gave up, hit the town and came back at 6.30 pm as we were fed up hearing that room was not ready after guaranteed 3 pm. Yet when we asked for late checkout next morning - they just offered 30 min. So it can only work one way… they will shorten your stay at check in but won’t extend your checkout. The hotel main areas are grand but rooms are more of an imitation furniture vibe and in my view not worth steep price point. I would rather stay in Presidential Suite in four star hotel with all the space and extras than book double here as the rooms do not much up. Yes bathroom is marble and there are two washing basins, there are some Sisley cosmetics to try which is handy but it just did not wow me. Beware - bathtub is really deep which could be problematic with people with mobility issues. Plus there were annoying bits like shower over bath which was flooding the bathroom and no sockets by the bedsite tables. It was nice but I value comfort of the room over grandeur of lobby. Lady who showed us to the room asked if we need maid to unpack our suitcases which we politely declined but I thought that could save somebody some time and effort. They were also performing decent downturn service with moving slippers next to your bed and switching on the lamps. It was quiet at night. You can open windows. Aircon works as well. We were also invited for lunch there. The prices were very high and I would expect amazing food for that but it really was average, I had much better food in many other places in France, nowhere near this price point. Breakfast choice was really limited and nothing to write home about. Overall lobby and restaurant areas are beautiful, with loads of history and character but it is just nice to look at. Actual experience is average. They really shoild do more to justify the prices.

Spent 300+ euros for a breakfast of 5 persons, but we were annoyed with how their restaurant manager (guy with dark hair in grey suit) treated us. His other colleagues (indian girl and other caucasion guy) were more helpful to us, 5 stars to them. While I was ordering, I asked him for omelette topping recommendations, his reply was "well that is up to you!" I wanted his opinion on popular toppings other people found delicious, was that a stupid question? The Cedric Grolet croissant wasn't worth the price. Serving was substantial but you're really paying for the ambiance. We had much better service in cheaper restaurants, to be honest.
