WWong Cheung ChingThe hotel is located on 8khor Street, very convenient to the Jokhang Temple or the Potala Palace. There are a lot of food nearby, and it is also very close to Lhasa Evernight City at night. The location is very good.
The room is comfortable and exquisite. I like this style very much. The room is fully equipped with Ming brand An massage toilet, Bluetooth speaker, humidifier, and fruit snacks and drinks are available for free. The hotel rooftop can enjoy the view of the Potala Palace.

Buy an oxygen tube for RMB 10/piece, and you can arrange an oxygen machine at the lobby bar to provide free oxygen.
There were sanitary defects, cigarette butts were found, we don't smoke as a family, but it was acceptable, the sprinkler pipe leaked, and the water pressure increased after cleaning.
Everything was cured by the warm customer service.

The breakfast is good, with rich variety and spacious environment.
The bedding is very comfortable, clean and has no smell of smoke.
Oxygen is available 24 hours in the lobby, and hot drinks are welcome - Rhodiola in the lobby: I have not experienced these two.
Coke and Wanglaoji are free in the room.
It is worth noting that not all rooms have oxygen, and you need to book a ”room supply” room.
The hotel restaurant is also OK. The portion is large and the taste is good, suitable for those who don't want to walk out.

It can be said that the trip to Lhasa was to check in Songzan. The expectations were high before departure, but I didn't expect that I would still be amazed by the beauty here.
The housekeeper Luosang called to inquire about the arrival time before checking in, and he was already waiting at the door to greet us warmly when he arrived at the hotel. Lhasa in winter is more prone to altitude sickness than in summer. The housekeeper first took us to rest in the hotel lobby and tasted the special highland barley milk cakes and sweet tea, which was as warm as welcoming his friends to visit his home.
The battery car arrived directly at the guest room, and the door was opened with an ancient key. The ******* fragrance came out. The ******* decoration style is unique and elegant. The sunlight filled the living room through the ******* window. Language cannot describe this warm feeling.
Every Songzan person I met in the hotel is sincere and lovely. They really treat us as guests from afar, allowing us to have a more comfortable stay.
Breakfast is on the second floor, and you can overlook the Potala Palace. It's a pity that the Western restaurant on the third floor is closed recently. For dinner, I chose the ******* restaurant on the second floor. The dishes are very good. The restaurants are very quiet and the atmosphere is very good.
There is also a boutique next to the hotel lobby. The scarves from Nole and the carpets from Kavajian are worth buying.
I really don't want to leave. I will bring my family here again if I have the chance.

LLvlingfan007The room was spotless, and the view of the Potala Palace from here was absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is perfectly situated right behind and to the right of the Potala Palace, making my windowsill my 'personal viewing platform': At midday, wisps of clouds drifted across its white walls and golden roofs, as if a breathing quilt was draped over the ancient palace; In the evening, the setting sun painted the Red Palace a honeyed hue, and as prayer flags fluttered in the wind, they seemed like countless hands applauding it; The moment the night lights came on, the entire palace suddenly 'came alive' – like an ancient ship moored in the darkness, carrying the stories of the Tubo Dynasty, slowly sailing towards the myriad lights of modern Lhasa. The complimentary biscuits were delicious, and the other snacks were great too! The butler and front desk service were warm and attentive. I arrived close to 2 PM, having not yet eaten, and the small eatery they recommended – the third shop after turning right from the hotel – was absolutely delightful.

GGuest UserAfter searching for a long time online, I chose the Verona International Hotel. What attracted us at first was the location, which is really good. It is only more than 100 meters away from the Potala Palace. You can shoot the scenery of the Potala Palace at 180℃, which is particularly beautiful. I would like to thank Sister Wu of Sky Mirror for patiently helping us take pictures. Her skills are comparable to those of first-class photographers. I am very moved. The breakfast is also very rich. The service awareness of the entire hotel service staff is very strong, enthusiastic, and full of intimacy, just like going home. This is the first time I have felt such warm service. Moreover, for a hotel of this price and standard, this price is super cost-effective. I strongly recommend it to everyone. The night tour guide has a wide range of knowledge and good service. He took pictures of us all while lying down. I give him 100 points. The sour soup yak beef hot pot on the first floor of the hotel is also a feature. The 200 yuan set meal is super value and very good. Everyone must come to check in when they arrive in Lhasa.

They answered our questions professionally and meticulously and provided us with a lot of practical travel suggestions. In addition, the hotel has a superior geographical location, convenient surrounding transportation, and many famous tourist attractions and commercial areas are nearby. GGuest UserThe hotel isn't to far from the Portola Palace (a short taxi trip). I wouldn't say its a true 4 star hotel.
The room was a good size, quiet and didn't smell of cigarette smoke. The room was a little worn out; I couldn't get the TV to work, the mirror on the wet bar area was cracked, there were marks to the walls where paintings/pictures had once been. Most annoying was the shower cubicle and the shower over the bath had only cold water! On my last morning the power was off in my area of the hotel and the lift was not working due to the power outage.
The hotel staff do not speak English, but one lady working on reception was especially nice and helpful and we were able to communicate by using the translation app.
There are lots of restaurants near by, but next time I think I'd prefer to stay closer to the Portola Palace.
