GGuest UserThe owner is incredibly friendly, and the Chinese breakfast is delicious. He even personally showed me the way to the entrance of the tourist attraction. The ticket booth is about a five-minute walk away. We were given welcome tea, and fruit and snacks are always available. It's quiet, and the owner's prompt response was very helpful. I would recommend this place to others.
QQuechaopiaolanJust finished a few days' trip to Western Sichuan, and I'm still buzzing from it! The biggest surprise of the trip wasn't the scenery, but a hidden gem of a hotel I stumbled upon in Li County.
I was just looking for a place to crash, but it turned out to be a perfect experience. I absolutely have to recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Bipenggou or a road trip through Western Sichuan! 🚗💨
🏨 **About the Environment & Service:**
The hotel is called ”Guan Shan Wang Yue” (Viewing Mountains and Moon), and it truly lives up to its name. Backed by mountains, the design is very tasteful, with a modern aesthetic subtly infused with Chinese Zen. The lobby features traditional Chinese writing tools and tea sets 🍵. Sipping hot tea while looking out at the snowy landscape just melts all your fatigue away.
I have to specifically praise the service! 👍 The front desk and staff are incredibly warm and attentive, always asking if you need anything and going out of their way to help. It truly feels like coming home, not that cold, standardized service you often get.
🍜 **About the Food (Highlight!):**
Even if you're not staying here, you absolutely must stop by for a meal if you're passing through!
⭐️ **Yak Noodles:** The best of the best! 🐂 So incredibly delicious! The beef chunks are generous and flavorful, tender and easy to chew. The broth is rich and savory. A hot bowl in the morning just brings you back to life!
⭐️ **Signature Stir-fries:** The cured meat platter and local wild vegetables are also very authentic. You can blindly order anything and won't be disappointed.
🏞️ **About the Surroundings:**
You absolutely must visit Dujiangyan for a photo op. The red walls and green trees make for stunning pictures 📸. Once you're in Li County, seeing the distant snow-capped mountains and the leisurely bar-headed geese swimming in the courtyard 🦆, that slow pace of life is truly what travel is all about~
📝 **Tips:**
* Recently, both Bipenggou and Li County have snow. While the scenery is beautiful, be sure to stay warm and watch out for slippery surfaces!
* The hotel's location is easy to find, and parking is convenient. They also have EV charging stations.
MM519440****I absolutely adored this guesthouse from the moment I stepped in! I arrived quite late, but the moment I got to the entrance, a staff member and the housekeeper, Xiao Zi, warmly greeted me. They even helped me take my luggage to my room. I initially booked this guesthouse because of its unique Tibetan-style decor, but when I arrived, I found it was even more beautiful than the pictures, haha! The rooftop hot tub was also incredibly comfortable (Xiao Zi said the water comes directly from the snow-capped mountains). But what truly captivated me here was the staff's genuine warmth. They felt more like friends! You can ask the housekeeper anything you need via WeChat. In the evening, I went to experience the only bar in town, which is located on the hotel's top floor. Even though I was alone, I didn't feel awkward or lonely at all. Xiao Zi immediately and enthusiastically invited me to sit with them. I'm usually a bit introverted, but I instantly opened up and happily chatted until the early hours of the morning. The bartender was also super nice, and the drinks tasted excellent (not just good-looking!). I had to leave too early and missed out on the breakfast beef noodles. I definitely need to try them next time! And the guesthouse dinner too – I'll save the last photo for my next visit! 👍🏻❤️
GGuest UserRoom is very big and clean. And the price is reasonable.. Staff lady is very helpful to help us pick up the luggage to Bipengou to back Chengdu....But finally, we lost the bus and she find the personal car pool for us to get back Chengdu.
LLuodayudeqingtianThe room came with a private hot spring tub, which was incredibly relaxing and perfect for unwinding after a long day. Parking was also very convenient. They had all the amenities for warmth: floor heating, air conditioning, and even an electric blanket. In fact, it was almost too warm; I actually woke up in the middle of the night feeling hot and had to turn down the floor heating. The cat was also super cute – it kept meowing outside the door as if asking to be let in, haha!
MM352304****I picked this hotel randomly, and the stay was great! 1. I was traveling with my parents, and the staff proactively offered us breakfast vouchers and toiletries. 2. The bonfire party was lively, and a dancing lady enthusiastically invited us to join. 3. The heating was already on when we entered the room, so there was no waiting. 4. They even gave us bottled water when we checked out. Overall, it's excellent value for money, and I'll definitely come back next time!
AAnonymous UserThe room is a bit old style. The towel is the disposable type. But the staff was quiet helpful, when we said we'll need to leave hotel early in the morning at 7, meanwhile the breakfast is starting at 7.30 a.m, we ask whether we can take a bit take away to eat on our way to another places which takes 8 hours, and the receptionist granted it❤️
2205817****The room layout was good, offering separate spaces for four people across two bedrooms. However, the slide was too steep, felt unsafe, and lacked entertainment value. The bunk bed room didn't seem to have underfloor heating, so we specifically requested an extra duvet at night. The room carpet wasn't very clean, but the response was quick – when we reported the broken security chain, a worker was sent to fix it promptly.
We were disappointed with the restaurant. The staff were indifferent, and the prices were too high, making it poor value for money. Although the breakfast buffet had a wide variety, the taste wasn't great, and many items felt like frozen food.
The hot springs, perhaps due to fewer guests, only had a few pools open, and they were quite small. While the infinity pool offered nice views, it was just a small swimming pool. Overall, I wouldn't consider a second visit.
BBuxiangshangbanzenmepoIt's the off-season now, and I chose this hotel for my trip to Bipenggou, as the reviews looked quite good. I booked a twin room, which was originally on the first floor. The front desk lady very kindly upgraded us to a room upstairs, where we could see the snowy mountains in the back. In the evening, I wanted to do some laundry, and since it was too late, I asked the front desk lady to help us out. The service was really great, and the breakfast had a good variety and plenty to eat. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time.
XXingganlataidiFirst off, the location is excellent; it's super close to the entrance of Bipenggou, and they offer parking. However, there's no EV charging station, so you have to borrow the slow charger from next door. It's a mixed bag. Since it was off-season and it's a wooden cabin, there's some creaking when you walk, and the soundproofing isn't great. There were strange, subtle noises at night. The big plus is that it's a wooden cabin! It would be incredibly beautiful with snow, and the floor heating and AC mean you won't be cold. The room is two-story, so you could easily fit four people. The downside is the uncomfortable mattress; it felt like it had been slept on by too many people and sagged in the middle, which really bothered my back and kept me from sleeping well. The toilet and bathtub are open-plan with no separation, just a pull-down shower curtain that's a bit transparent.
