There is an ancient arch bridge in the village that was rated as a secret place in the south of the Yangtze River by National Geographic Magazine. It is covered with greenery. I arrived at the hotel at 2 pm on weekdays. There were still many parking spaces. I picked a comfortable seat for my little leopard to park. Soon after the check-in~ The room was super cool. It turned out that the waiter had inserted the room card in advance with a room temperature of 16° (the sun was hot in the afternoon), and I needed to give a big praise. Room facilities and services are the standard of Huazhu, which makes people feel at ease and comfortable. There are several breakfast shops around, soy milk buns are made by the owner, we did not choose the hotel breakfast, packed 2 breakfasts with our own hand coffee~ The vitality began to drop a day. Next time I come to ”Anlingrong” hometown, I still have to live in the whole season!

The room is very clean and tidy, and the comfort is great. I have never slept outside with such comfortable pillows, mattresses and quilts. I chose the attic room on the third floor. The bed is facing the window, allowing direct sunlight and sufficient heating at night. The hot water in the bath is not too hot, the bath is a bit cold, and the shower is okay. The store also thoughtfully prepared some disposable towels, which is very thoughtful. It’s great for people like me who don’t use outside towels! The landlord and his wife are very down-to-earth, and they also eat in the store in the evening. The local village is very quiet, and the sunset is beautiful. It is suitable for relaxing and renovating on weekends. The B&B I stayed in was the best in the whole village, and the decoration was all wooden. It should be very comfortable to sleep in the attic and listen to the chirping of insects in the summer!

We loved our weekend stay here as a quiet and green nature getaway from Shanghai (3hr train ride). We arrived late in the evening, but the provided taxi service from Qingtian was great (40mins, 80rmb). Our host Nancy was so sweet, spoke great English, made us wonderful coffees and even took us on a little tour of the village and vegetable gardens. The accomodation is in a small village with 500yo houses, where mostly elderly people still live. We went on two nice 2-3hrs hikes, to the waterfalls and temple and towards another village. Food was great too: lovely rice flake porridge and many other things for breakfast, free tea and snacks, and in the evening we got a lovely noodle soup. Our lastminute vegetarian request was easily accomodated. Bed and shower were lovely and a good heater was provided to warm the room. Would definitely recommend, we hope to come back in spring to see the flower fields!
