After I entered the homestay, the environment was clean and spacious. The floor heating was particularly powerful. I wanted to go to the ground when I came back at night. There is a very empty place to go out and turn right. You can go there to take pictures of sunrise and sunset, and take thick snow. The boss is very special and very good. He took us to many places. 90% of the reasons for the happiness of this trip are from this bold boss. The buns in the breakfast shop are delicious. I really want to have another bite. The puppy at the hotel is a great dog. It can be touched hard and is very cute and obedient. The back of the boss's car is very suitable for painting, recommended! If you see here, then I can tell you in charge, don't hesitate, just book this homestay without brains, you will have a particularly happy time. I have left a very good impression here. I hope that all people who come to the Arctic Village can book this homestay. I hope all passengers will have a pleasant journey. I hope the boss's homestay will be bigger and stronger! This old dog padded in expecting a stay… and somehow got adopted. One step through the door and the wife hugged me like a long-lost littermate. Tail wagging commenced immediately. 🐾
If warmth could melt Mohe’s cold, this household would be climate change.
My downstairs room? Small. A little dim. Chosen for my sister’s convenience rather than my royal canine standards. But here’s the thing — when hospitality is this generous, the light comes from the people. I ate every meal at their café not out of laziness, but loyalty. Why brave the Arctic for repetitive food when home-style comfort is already waiting with a bowl and a smile?
Youran lives up to its name: unforced, gentle, human. It felt less like a hotel and more like visiting relatives who keep refilling your bowl because you look “too thin.” This became the perfect launchpad for my Harbin expedition, three nights of settling in, warming up, and learning that charm travels better than luxury.
Now, the honest bone (every good dog buries one): I’d give this a 4.1 stars if decimals existed. Since they don’t, here’s a conditional 5-star — contingent on tighter cleanliness under beds, chairs, and in the toilet. I raised this directly with the boss because I’d happily recommend this boutique stay to my pack… once the floors behave.
All in, Mohe Youran Mountain Residence didn’t just host me — they claimed me. And this dog? I don’t forget who treats me like family.

This saying is truly accurate to the houses in the village. They appear to transport you back to a time when homes were constructed with simple materials. The outside really showed the actual village style from a long time ago; however, what was more interesting was the modernization of the interior designs inside the house. The Arctic Village definitely reminded me of the simplicity of earlier eras. Moreover, people there were really nice. And to auntie and uncle, who were the best hosts, thank you so much for your kindness. I really appreciate the bbq and the experience of eating breakfast with the Chinese people. I will definitely comeback in the future. To those who wish to stay comfortably while traveling. I heartily recommend this place.Wish you all the best. Until we meet again 😀

BBaaotuokaishangshanThe hotel's location is relatively quiet. While dining options require a few minutes' walk south, this contributes to a peaceful environment. However, the rooms offer virtually no soundproofing, so noise from other rooms – whether it's doors slamming or people talking loudly – is easily heard.
True to its name, 'Muju' (Wooden Dwelling), the hotel boasts unique decor. The courtyard is also nicely arranged, featuring rabbits and various plants.
Breakfast was very simple, offering a few small side dishes. The soy milk had a distinctive, somewhat savory flavor, and the date cake was quite good.
The owner was wonderful, very friendly and welcoming. They even gave my child a small gift when we left.

MM2al4bmao****I have to give this hotel a huge shout-out! From check-in to check-out, the service was incredibly thoughtful, and the staff were always ready to help. The biggest surprise was being able to do laundry, which is super practical for anyone on a longer road trip – it solved a major headache. Parking was also incredibly convenient; no need to hunt for a spot, you just park right downstairs, which is hassle-free and secure. The environment is really comfortable, clean, and tidy; the hygiene is impeccable, and the bedding feels fresh, making for a very pleasant stay. The owner is also incredibly warm and friendly, chatting with us like a friend and even proactively recommending great local spots. The whole experience was top-notch! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit, and I highly recommend it to everyone~

MM343749****I rarely write reviews, but this stay was surprisingly good. The guesthouse owners are a husband and wife. On our first night, we found the air dry, so we contacted the owner's wife, who brought us a basin of water in the middle of the night. The next day, they even arranged a ride for us to Beihong Village, and the driver was very helpful. On our last day, they took us to the riverbank for a free water-splashing activity, and then, learning we hadn't visited many attractions in Beiji Village, they immediately drove us around for free before we left.
We booked a family room, a small wooden cabin, which was very comfortable, quiet, and clean.

GGuest UserThe owner was very kind; he picked us up from the bus station and drove us to buy tickets when we left. The room was really clean, and knowing we were sensitive to the cold, he arranged the warmest room for us. It had underfloor heating, and the toilet was heated and fully automatic. We heard there was an aurora borealis, and the owner said he would definitely let us know if it happened and would take us there, so we wouldn't have to wait there freezing. He was very considerate throughout the trip, even telling us where to go and recommending restaurants. Most importantly, they offer free water-to-ice water-splashing service, and you can do it for as long as you want, right in the hotel's backyard.

GGuest UserThe location is very convenient, right on the main street. It's just a few hundred meters to Songyuan Park, Beiji Square, and Mohe Dance Hall. The front desk can help you call a taxi, and it's only 6 yuan to go anywhere within the town.
The front desk manager was excellent; they upgraded our room and even gave us a small gift. The service was warm and attentive.
The only downside is that the room's soundproofing isn't great, so it can get quite noisy when people are passing by.

Spread over two floors, it has three separate bedrooms, including one with a tea room—it's truly a delightful experience. Beyond the amenities, the host is incredibly kind! The young man was incredibly welcoming and immediately available to help with any questions we had. He even offered free transportation—so warm and friendly! He even took us on a tour, letting us learn about the local customs and culture. Our trip to the Arctic Village was truly worthwhile because of our stay here! GGuest UserThe hotel helped us arrange a driver for our entire trip, making it easy for us to travel around Mohe at a cheaper cost. The driver are very helpful and helped us to book the attraction entrance tickets for us and we can pay him later at the end of our trip as the cost covered is mainly for him to bring us to attractions for our entire trip and it does not include attraction entrance tickets. Prepare some cash for easy payment back to the driver as for our country, we are being charged for extra 2% fees if we are using Alipay app payments above RMB200. So by paying them in cash for anything above RMB200, we can avoid paying the 2% fees. Also there are times when we make some payment while purchasing food, and we are having difficulties on the apps link which is another reason why cash is needed for the contingency period.
