THE place to stay in Shaoshan. I felt like I was at home, tucked into a quiet wooded corner of town. They helped me organize my short stay, drove me around, and cooked up an excellent breakfast. They were great company and my only complaint is that I couldn’t stay longer. (The room was perfect; the pictures speak for themselves.)

She also thoughtfully arranges a pick-up station. There is also a small pavilion and a swing at the door, which is very warm and a good choice.

The homestay was not far from the scenic spots. The distance was just right. The square memorial hall was not far away. I was satisfied with this trip.

This is a very typical rural B&B, with a restaurant on the first floor and guest rooms on the second and third floors. The B&B is located in a village at the entrance of the scenic spot. Parking is allowed and pets are allowed. It is about 500 meters away from the former residence of the elders and the Bronze Statue Square. The owner's service is warm and the room is clean. The facilities are simple and outdated. The bathroom did not provide bath towels and there was no shower. The bedding may be too basic and make a twitching sound when you turn over. In Shaoshan in March, the temperature at night was very low, so I needed to turn on the air conditioner, but the sound from the outdoor air conditioner was loud, like a tractor. When I turned off the air conditioner, the same sound came from the outdoor air conditioners in other rooms, and the quilt was a little thin. Great choice for light sleepers. It’s okay to just pass by on a self-driving tour and stay overnight.

I am very happy to stay at a hotel under Jinjiang Group for the first time. I like it very comfortably. Special thanks to the chartered service provided by the hotel. A very good experience for our stay in Shaushan. The service is fantastic with free pickup and send off service.provided by the Inn's owner. The room is spacious, well kept and clean. The home cooked food was delicious at a reasonable price. I strongly recommend this homestay inn if you are planning for a Shaushan trip.

The owners of this place are the nicest people ever! Even though we did not ask, they gave us a ride to and from the train station as well as to Chairman Mao's former residence. The location is great, it would not have been a long walk but the ride made our visit even smoother. The hosts gave us Chairman Mao pins for free and made us delicious breakfast for a really cheap price. They truly are such nice people! They don't speak much English but I'm sure you would manage just fine with a translator app. The room was a great fit for us, two couples travelling together, and it had everything we needed. We only stayed for one night since there is not a whole lot to see in this town but we would have loved to stay for longer just because the hosts were so nice.
