GGuest UserWatching the Milky Way from inside a desert tent was an amazing experience! We played in the sand and went sandboarding during the day, and enjoyed a bonfire and fireworks display at night – the atmosphere was incredible. The owner was very punctual with pick-up and drop-off, and the ability to shower in the desert was a pleasant surprise. The photos were amazing, I'll definitely come back!

We highly recommend this hotel. It’s modern and with spacious and clean rooms. And the staff is outstanding.
We were very warmly welcomed by the staff and check in went super smooth. We got lots of information and it’s easy to communicate via the hotels WeChat. The staff didn’t speak so much English, but this was not any problem with translating apps and the translate function in WeChat. The staff felt us feel very welcome and they stood out as very professional and service minded. We have travelled a lot and the staff of Huanghe Xiyu hotel made a solid impression.
The room was spacious and modern. It was very clean and nice. Good windows which could be opened. It also has mosquito nets. There were plenty water, a couple of complementary soft drinks and drip coffee and tea. Comfortable beds and several choices of pillows. The gym was also good.
The breakfast was very good. Nice selections of diffferent items. Tasty and fresh. We enjoyed freshly made noodles and dumplings. The staff in the restaurant was very friendly and service minded too.
Overall a very good experience which we do recommended.

GGuest UserIt's worthy of being called Xipo. The service and the room are so good.
Taking advantage of the off-peak season, I came alone to experience the Yellow River Homestay. Each homestay has a different decoration style. I chose Xipo on the recommendation of my friend and was very satisfied. The facilities and services corresponding to this price are really worth it. The price of two nights in the off-season is equivalent to the price of a normal night. The hair dryer is Dyson, and the toiletries are all from the laboratory. There are also beer + drinks in the mini bar, freshly ground coffee, and freshly made bread (forgot to take a picture). The sea salt rolls are super delicious, and the scones are also good, not sweet at all, which suits my taste.
The whole homestay is very quiet, close to the Yellow River, and there are trails. If there are many people at night, you can drink, eat barbecue and watch the stars by the Yellow River.
The service of private butler Xiaoying is really excellent. She will contact the guests about three days before you check in and help arrange some matters, such as car pick-up, introduction of food, drink and entertainment nearby, food, drink and entertainment in Zhongwei, and travel photography needs. She will also recommend it. After check-in, she will also take meticulous care of the guests. She deserves 100 points. Such a niche place is highly recommended for family and couple travel. If you go to Zhongwei, you must stay at Huanghe Suji to experience the local traditional customs.

GGuest UserQuite good small courtyard. The best thing is the location. During the popular trip on May 1st, you can live in the scenic spot and avoid the flow of people perfectly. When the queue is long, take the children to play in the sand freely, or go back to the hotel to rest. Play the project when there are few people.
The room was clean and you could see the Yellow River directly. It is very comfortable to drink tea in the house and watch the Yellow River. In addition, the food is also very good. I read the previous comment that the package is not delicious, but it is quite in line with the taste of our family, including the children. Breakfast is also quite good, coffee is available. In addition to dinner, I also keep sending other foods, afternoon tea, fruit, supper, and keep sending food for a day.
There are also sand digging tools and sandboarding, and the children are having fun.

KKathleenqianStayed for two nights and tried two different room types: a log cabin and a lotus tent. The housekeeper's service is very good. He replies to WeChat messages and answers phone calls immediately at any time. It makes tourists who are not familiar with camping projects feel very reassured. The breakfast is very rich. During holidays, it is recommended to go there just after the meal starts, when there are fewer people and you can enjoy the special food slowly. The desert project package can be purchased directly at the registration desk, which is very convenient. The sandboard can be used for free and unlimited sliding. We stayed in Dongge Camp for a whole day. The next day, the housekeeper helped us contact Master Wang to charter a car to visit several popular attractions in Zhongwei. The half-day tour was not too fast or too slow, and the experience was very good. Recommended to all friends who want to camp in the desert and charter a car

GGuest UserI absolutely loved this place! I’m writing this as a foreigner who went with 4 other foreigners for a special birthday weekend. First, the service. We have good Chinese proficiency, but those with limited to none will be fine. Most of the communication and coordination is handled via WeChat - which can auto translate. 东 “Dong” was our main contact. He rocked and gave us a real experience. He shuttled us in the sand jeep, gifted me a cake for my birthday, and was just an overall cool guy. Thanks! Second, the location and accommodations. If you stay near Desert Star, there’s a lot of people and campsites - that area seems like a bit of a tourist funnel. This area is located in the REAL sand dunes area. Further North, you actually cross into Inner Mongolia. The separation and distance is worth it. Makes for brighter stars and a more authentic experience. Third, the food. They were able to coordinate a whole lamb to be roasted for my birthday. It was absolutely extraordinary. The sides for it were some of the best I had on the entire trip - they have some skilled chefs there. This place has great reviews, and it’s worth it. I do recommend this to foreigners, and I hope I can return one day.

GGuest UserAlthough the hotel is not particularly new, it has complete facilities and the surrounding environment is relatively good and quiet. The heating and air conditioning are sufficient, giving southerners a full sense of security. There are also many types of breakfast, and in order to avoid waste, they are very considerate and cut into small pieces. When breakfast is about to end, they will knock on the door of each room to ask if you have eaten breakfast. The service was very good and enthusiastic. The air conditioner was already on when I checked in. The lady at the front desk also helped to deliver the luggage to the room and explained the precautions very considerately.
