JJames DobleI recently stayed at the Hôtel de Bourbon (the Mercure one) in Bourges, and honestly, it felt like stepping into a little piece of history while still having all the modern comforts you could want.
My room was a classic double, spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was excellent—properly supportive after a day of wandering around—and the bathroom had a great walk-in shower with good water pressure. Everything felt freshly renovated (they did a big update around 2018), with a nice blend of modern touches and the old abbey character. Some rooms overlook the park, which must be lovely in summer.

MM8890****Strictly speaking, the room is not bad, but the hotel front desk is less than 5 yuan. You can't swipe your card and you can't find a large amount of cash. You can use small change and even induce you to increase other consumption. Very pit
